Bright + aromatic, just like our holiday scent Tangerine Royale 🍊 Tangerine Olive Oil Cake Recipe: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9” cake pan with 1–2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil. Optional: layer with thin slices from 2 tangerines. In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup olive oil, 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar, 3 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ¼ cup tangerine juice, and 2 tbsp tangerine zest. Add 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and ½ tsp kosher salt. Stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing. Pour batter into the pan and bake 50–55 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool 15 minutes. Make glaze: whisk together ¼ cup confectioners’ sugar and 2 tbsp tangerine juice until smooth. Whip chantilly cream: 1 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, and ½ tsp salt until soft peaks form. Invert the cooled cake onto a serving plate, remove parchment, spread glaze evenly, and serve slices with a dollop of chantilly cream and extra tangerine zest. Warm, sweet, slightly tangy, and creamy — the perfect flavour pairing for the aromatic Tangerine Royale.
