How do we calculate the "hottest" accounts?+

Each account is scored using a weighted formula: 45% avg engagement + 35% views velocity + 20% total views. Scores are normalized across all accounts in the same category so rankings reflect relative performance, not just raw numbers. Higher engagement rate and faster-growing view counts push an account higher on the leaderboard.

How often are the rankings updated?+

Rankings are refreshed daily. We pull the latest engagement metrics, view counts, and follower growth each day to recalculate scores. This means an account that goes viral can climb the leaderboard within 24 hours, and accounts that slow down will gradually drop.

How are accounts categorized by industry?+

Each account is assigned an industry category based on their primary content focus and bio description — such as Tech, Finance, Sports, Entertainment, or Fashion. You can filter by category using the tabs above the leaderboard to compare accounts within the same niche.

Can I see historical rankings or past leaderboards?+

Currently the leaderboard shows a rolling snapshot based on the past month of activity. Historical rankings and trend tracking for individual accounts are coming soon — you'll be able to see how an account's position has shifted over time.
