Growth doesn’t always look confident. Sometimes it looks like starting over… again and again… until you finally press post.

This one was uncomfortable for me, but I’m learning to show up anyway.

Over 40? Stop neglecting your back.

A strong back = better posture, more shape, more confidence.

Focus on:
✔ Lat pulldowns
✔ Seated rows
✔ Single-arm rows or assisted pull-ups

3 rules:
1️⃣ Pull elbow to hip.
2️⃣ Slow the negative.
3️⃣ Train it twice a week.

Strong back. Strong presence 💪🏽

Back day is my fave! 💪🔥 Today, I did some bent-over rows, which are great for targeting the upper back and improving posture. I also added in cable one-arm pulldowns to isolate those lats and build strength. 

A key tip for beginners is to practice dead hangs on the pull-up bar. Just hanging there for as long as you can helps build grip strength and gets your body used to the movement, making it easier to eventually do pull-ups. It’s an important step in mastering that exercise! Let’s keep building those muscles, ladies! 🙌✨

Lift heavy enough.
Prioritise protein.

1) You’re eating healthy… but you’re not in a calorie deficit. Healthy food still has calories..

2)You’re not lifting heavy enough. If you want your body to change, you have to challenge it.

3) You’re good Monday to Friday… then the weekend resets everything.

It’s not your age. It’s your approach. You got this 💞
