Do you let your kids on social media?
What if instead of spending $400k on college, you gave your kid $200k to:⁣ ⁣ • Year 1: $50k to backpack the world, get uncomfortable, learn languages, be vulnerable⁣ • Year 2: $150k seed capital to start and run their own company for a full year⁣ ⁣ After touching operations, finance, marketing, HR, legal, customer service... they'd actually know what they're drawn to.⁣ ⁣ Then they can either keep building or go to college informed about what they actually want to do.⁣ ⁣ Radical? Maybe. But when do we actually give people a chance to figure out what they care about?

The boy will want her to tend to his limited emotional capacity while needing her to feel a certain way for him to be good within himself The man will constantly be open to ways he can expand his nervous systems capacity to hold and see his overwhelm as a 12/10 capacity and initiation IMPORTANT NOTE👇🏼 This does not mean a woman can just walk over a man, disrespect his capacity and expect him to drop everything at any time This does not mean a woman can be emotionally abusive and he must stand there and take it It’s just as important that a woman is responsible for her own emotional experience also and her wounded inner girl that comes out, that’s not a man’s responsibility. Sometimes the initiation for a man can also be saying no and owning his boundaries with a woman who can’t respect him for the man he is. Jiu jitsu isn't just a sport. It's a kinship system.⁣ ⁣ When you're learning lethal technology - how to break and kill other humans - trust becomes mandatory. Safety becomes sacred. Honor becomes everything.⁣ ⁣ That's why jiu jitsu professors call it "domestication" when a white belt walks in. It's an initiation process. They want to see what you do under stress. They regulate. They correct.⁣ ⁣ Roll too hard? Now you roll with Bruno. And you learn real quick.⁣ ⁣ Jiu jitsu is exploding right now because it's one of the few places men go and think: "Oh. This is what I've been missing."⁣ ⁣ It's like seeing for the first time. Your soul works for the first time.⁣ ⁣ Modern masculinity needs modern initiation.

@benjamin.forest.bliss spent 25 years in the Air Force, rose to Lieutenant Colonel, and hit rock bottom. On Veterans Day, he walked into a hospital and told the nurse, “I want to die.” That moment changed everything. He quit his job. He left the military. And in one heroic dose of psilocybin, he found something he never thought he’d feel again…peace. In this conversation, Ben and I dive deep into psychedelics, masculinity, healing, and the emotional constipation that keeps so many men stuck. This isn’t a drug story. It’s a story about awakening, and what happens when men finally face themselves. Now live at our link in bio.

When she says "I think we should break up," just say "Okay."⁣ ⁣ Don't block her. Don't text her friends. Don't do anything reactive.⁣ ⁣ Withdraw. Heal. Come back stronger.⁣ ⁣ This is how you handle a breakup with emotional maturity and keep your frame intact.⁣ ⁣ The world would be a better place if more men understood this simple protocol.

Till 40, it's just research.⁣ ⁣ Carl Jung said life begins at 40. Everything before that? You're just figuring it out.⁣ ⁣ If you're 23, 29, 37 and feeling behind - you're not. You're exploring. You're learning. You're researching what works for you.⁣ ⁣ Stop comparing yourself to the 18-year-old in Birkenstocks who "made it" early. Your timeline is your timeline.⁣ ⁣ Give yourself permission to not have it all figured out yet.

The breakup rule every man needs to know:⁣ ⁣ No begging. No chasing. No explaining.⁣ ⁣ Say it once. Apologize once. Then stop.⁣ ⁣ Anything more dilutes your message and your dignity.⁣ ⁣ Let people do what they're going to do. You don't try to change their mind.⁣ ⁣ Life has a better plan for you. You just have to be brave enough to walk the path.⁣

Heartbreak isn't just about breakups.⁣ ⁣ It's overwhelming distress from any loss - a job, a parent, a pet, a fight with your mom.⁣ ⁣ Neuroscience shows emotional pain lights up the same brain regions as physical pain. That's why heartbreak literally feels like a gut punch.⁣ ⁣ When you're going through withdrawal from heartbreak, your brain releases the same chemicals as withdrawing from addictive drugs.⁣ ⁣ No wonder it feels impossible to function.

A few months ago, I made a list of 300 things to do before I die. Then I turned it into a four-foot poster and hung it in my house.⁣ ⁣ At first, it just felt like a fun creative project. But it quickly became something much bigger. The list gave me something to reach for on the hard days. It gave me direction when I felt lost and it made me excited about the future again.⁣ ⁣ I walk past it every day, and every day, I feel this subtle reminder of "Oh yeah… I'm building a really dope life."⁣ ⁣ Now when my weekend plans get canceled, instead of doom-scrolling, I just pick something off the list. Dance alone in my kitchen for one full song. Build a time capsule. Visit that coffee shop I've been meaning to try.⁣ ⁣ Some things are big picture projects I can't knock out in a day. But having them written down makes them feel possible instead of just pipe dreams.

Sometimes we tell strangers what we can't tell our own family.⁣ ⁣ A neighbor knocked on my guest's door after a breakup. She was crying, needed someone to talk to. After sharing her story, she said something that stuck: "I can't talk to my mom or sister about this because they'll tell me to move on and that I'm better than him. I'm not ready to hear that yet."⁣ ⁣ There's something about strangers that feels safer. No judgment. No agenda. Just listening.⁣ ⁣ Maybe that's why we're more honest with people who don't know our history.⁣ ⁣ This clip is from my recent episode - now live on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.
