I DID IT!!! My first marathon and on my birthday🙋🏼‍♀️🎂 Last year I was here at this same hotel on my birthday, watching all of the (what I thought at the time) CRAZY people run the Sydney Marathon. If you would have told me I’d be running it myself in a years time, I’d laugh! Absolutely WILD how much can change in 6 months of downloading @runna starting a running program and falling absolutely in love with the sport! Thank you to Runna for helping me get to this point and seriously changing my life and perception of running. I wasn’t going to share this but when I posted on stories that I was teacher shopping, the feedback was an overwhelming SHOW US response. Here is the little box I put together for the group of teachers, along with a seperate gift we got Malakai’s main teachers. Malakai goes to daycare 2 days a week and the teachers have been so incredible easing our introverted, caring little soul into the classroom🙏🏼💕

A moment off the sidelines🥹 As a mother of three rambunctious boys, our home is full of headlocks, surfing, jiujitsu, boxing, noise, mud and beautiful (and often violent) chaos. I am blessed and I take the chaos in my stride (most of the time). I get involved, get dirty and engage in every single sport my boys are in. However, I’m often the benchwarmer, and I expect that. With Daddy as a black belt fighter, amazing surfer and ex footy/soccer champ of course my boys run to him to wrestle, learn surf tech tips and slide tackle in the mud. Sure I have my moment where they want to race mummy and box together, but the bond between my boys and their dad is sacred and primal. I truely do love watching their rowdy energy collide but I’m often on the sideline, waiting to be picked, packing the lunches, cleaning the soccer boots, tieing up the BJJ belts and driving them to practise I understand that mum and dad are different in their eyes and that’s ok. I respect that. My oldest son Fox in particular has always been our most rambunctious, energetic and sporty. Always covered in mud, up a tree, deep in the ocean or leaning jumps on his bike. So when he showed an interest in clay t the young age of 3, it felt like this tiny little doorway opened for us. A chance to do something together that wasn’t me cooking, cleaning, organising, reminding, washing, packing bags, or meeting everyone’s needs. Just us. Sitting side by side. Creating. Talking. Laughing. Creating meaningful memories. He thought the pottery class was a treat for him, but I don’t think he’ll ever know how much of a treat it was for me. A little lump of clay, a quiet afternoon, and one very full mum heart. 🤍 #boymom #boymum

I’ve been playing around with a super simple and time efficient chicken enchiladas I’ve recipe using a barbecue chicken. I’ve been playing around with a super simple and time efficient chicken enchiladas I’ve recipe using a barbecue chicken.
