Congratulations to our Tre Tre! Wow, how cool it is to witness a young boy transform into a young man! Tre was 11yrs old when he first entered my life. A polite, awesome big brother, a thinker, a doer and now, 7yrs later, not much has changed, only elevated. He is all these things and more. I look forward to what life has for you @tre.fernandez3, I pray the lessons, the advice, guidance and love shown by your parents, myself and your amazing extended family will be something you lean on and hear when nobody is around. Motherhood has been the most incredible journey, and I don’t suspect that will change, ever. From the times of pregnancy and carrying my babies to term, wow, some of the best times of my life. It’s hard to put into words what family means to me but “absolutely everything” would be a good start 🥰 Earlier this year, our beloved grandmother Litia transitioned. To honor her, my aunties and cousins received their tualima tatau, a traditional tattoo on the back of the hands, done collectively as women. For those of us who couldn’t return home to Sydney to celebrate her life and legacy, the FOMO was real! So during my sisters visit to LA, we followed suit and were blessed by the hands of @westvillefilz 🙏🏽 This is family. My family. Ou te alofa ia te outou uma 🫶🏽 🇼🇸🇹🇻

I agreed to cook Baja fish tacos for dinner but that was before remembering my stovetop was freshly cleaned, so I was like, nahhh. Let’s keep it clean for a little while 😂 but Guy had other plans (clearly in the mood for some fried fish) he said.. nah nothing, watch this .. 👀 Yoooo, he pulled out the tin foil and got to work, and the whole time I’m thinking, what are you doinnnnn?!! Flabbergasted at his on the spot innovativeness, I stood there utterly impressive with his quick thinking, solution based approach to getting what he wanted for dinner anddd look what my babe did.. He later confessed that covering the stove to avoid messing it up isn’t new, his words .. “I’m from the hood, we do this!” 😂

Friday, 6/27/25 3:17PM PT: Jett woke up 17 minutes into my treadmill run and said it was time for him to doing his “exercising” 😑 to distract him I tried to do push ups with him (his new favorite thing now that we’ve taught him proper form) but he said no to that, and asked for his phone, smh. Because I refused to put him on the treadmill half sleepy he wasn’t feeling me at all..

Sure, it’s a new year, but also, same foolery! Another thing- I’ve learned that when the waiter asks if we’re celebrating anything special, I know to say yes, every single time. Because something special is quality time with my husband, even if he plays too much and still takes a horrible photo, video, whatever 🙄

Never downplay your efforts, after all, you’re doing the most important job of all, raising your babies, so be kind to yourself and applaud even the smallest of wins of each day.
