I booked the picnic experience at @saintclaire_neworleans as soon as they announced them a few weeks ago. We finally got to do it today 😊! And it was absolutely fabulous. My favorite things were the Italian soft cheese 🧀 and the lemon thyme shortbread with (local) chocolate 🍫 . It’s perfect picnic weather right now in New Orleans, y’all. Saint Claire does 8 of these a day and you get to enjoy it anywhere on their property. They really knocked it out of the park with this dining experience - so incredibly thoughtful and unique. Utterly charming and the perfect date. Highly recommend - I’ll be back for dinner 🤍🧺✨ #EatDrinkTravelYall

My favorite things were the Italian soft cheese 🧀 and the lemon thyme shortbread with (local) chocolate 🍫 . It’s perfect picnic weather right now in New Orleans, y’all. Saint Claire does 8 of these a day and you get to enjoy it anywhere on their property. They really knocked it out of the park with this dining experience - so incredibly thoughtful and unique. Thank you @chef.portela, @jeanlamaquina, @jovanni_santiago. Words can’t express my awe of what you’re doing or my gratitude to share your space with you. I have so many more photos and an insane blog coming soon on this place but I could not resist give y’all a sneak@peek. By far the best meal I’ve ever had, as well at the most unique. ★ James Beard Award Nominee, Best Chef: South (2024) ★ James Beard Award Nominee, Outstanding Chef (2025) ★ The Best Chef Awards — One Knife distinction (Milan) ★ Best Chef in the Caribbean — Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association ★ Lazos de Oro honoree, multiple years (2023–2024) (I’m sure I missed some.) Saints Games. Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties. School Dance Drop Offs. Family Outings. Or just getting a crew together because it’s Saturday and you feel like having a good time.
