Depuis il y a eu des hauts, des bas, des moments de doutes et beaucoup de solitude pour arriver à ce restaurant, Le Chêne, qui n’est qu’un prolongement de qui je suis, accompagné de Ronan. On a voulu partager cet amour pour la cuisine française bien faite, précise, généreuse et ce service chaleureux sans prétention que Ronan incarne si bien. Merci à vous tous de continuer de soutenir mes projets et de me donner la parole quand cela est nécessaire. LE CHÊNE 🌳 - par @alexiaduchene et @thatsronan Dans les murs encore bruts du restaurant Le Chêne @lechenenyc — le futur restaurant d’Alexia Duchêne et Ronan Duchêne Le May J’ai eu la chance de passer un moment avec eux, entre poussière, échelles et esquisses d’un rêve en train de prendre forme. Alexia, c’est une énergie vive, un talent brut, une cuisine instinctive et sincère. Après avoir marqué la scène parisienne et new-yorkaise, elle s’attaque à un défi de taille : implanter son propre univers dans le coeur du West Village, à Carmine Street, dans une ville où tout va vite mais où tout est possible. Le Chêne, c’est une promesse. Celle d’un lieu sincère, ancré dans les saisons, habité par une cuisine libre et audacieuse. La promesse d’un endroit qui lui ressemble.
