I get asked this more times than I’d like to admit… 

First off, you can’t “make” anyone do anything. 

Unfortunately, some women don’t want it bad enough for themselves and will never change their ways…

But many women simply don’t have enough support to make health & fitness a priority.

When I went into labor a month early and had to have an unplanned (emergent!) C section because Banks was breech, my mind spiraled: “No way will I ever get my strength back”, “no way will my core ever work the same” yada yada.

And while that’s kinda true, I walk with a scar across my belly and I’m still rehabbing diastasis recti and managing some knee pain, I’m the strongest and most resilient I’ve ever been in my life.

My pregnancies and postpartum periods were the best things to ever happen to my relationship with my body and fitness because they humbled me in ways that took me to a new level of appreciation and motivation to take care of myself.

Every day that I have a capable and strong body is a gift from God and I don’t take it for granted. 

I’m sharing this to remind all you mamas that you are capable of strength you could never have pre-pregnancy. maybe you just need accountability and a plan now that time is limited and priorities have shifted?

When I went into labor a month early and had to have an unplanned (emergent!)
