Going home finally as a family of 3 🍼🩵🥹 This past week was the hardest and most amazing week of my life. My birth story was very different than I expected (I’ll share more of later), & our son was in the NICU this whole week. We spent every day nurturing him and praying over him and God really showed up 🥺 But we finally got discharged today and we are going home happy and healthy! We will share his name soon 🤍 But my goodness, we are praising God for this little one. He’s my dream come true! We are back home and trying to get settled now and we’ll begin to share more as the days come. & wow, THANK YOU nurses & doctors for you what you do… this week gave me even deeper appreciation for you. 🏥 yall are amazing. But ahhh I’m a wholeeee mother now!!! 😭

Going home finally as a family of 3 🍼🩵🥹 This past week was the hardest and most amazing week of my life. My birth story was very different than I expected (I’ll share more of later), & our son was in the NICU this whole week. We spent every day nurturing him and praying over him and God really showed up 🥺 But we finally got discharged today and we are going home happy and healthy! We will share his name soon 🤍 But my goodness, we are praising God for this little one. He’s my dream come true! Law School, here we come!!!!👨🏽‍⚖️⚖️ What a journey this has been… From denial to acceptance! I’m SO inspired by my husband’s perseverance and dedication! Kaleb will begin law school this fall and I’m so excited to see where God takes him throughout this whole journey! 🙌🏼 This has been a dream of his for a while and he’s supported me SO much throughout my career and I’m honored to stand by his side while he does one of the most challenging, yet rewarding 3 years of his life. We are praising God for him opening a door we thought was shut. Just when you think it’s a “no,” God made a way! Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 31 🎂🎉🤍 & 31 weeks pregnant!! The year I become a mom 🥹 My sweet husband planned this whole day for us! Started off with a homemade breakfast, mani and pedis, my best friend Riley surprised me with a massage, & now we are doing dinner and a staycation downtown!! I feel so loved and thankful. 🥲 This year will massively change my life becoming a mother and moving to a new city, and I am so excited to see what it teaches me. The most controversial I’ve seen Halloween be in a while! I’m definitely a team not celebrate it and never have liked Halloween. But I do think there is some nuance to it. However, you just have to ask God, “Is what I’m doing honoring and glorifying you?” Sometimes we can think things are innocent, but in reality, they are still participating in looking like the world. Ask God, “is there anything in my life that is giving enemy a foothold?” and let him show you. I don’t think putting on a costume is inherently wrong, but it just matters what you do with this day. Pray about it and use this day to bless people and show them the light of Jesus! Do not participate with anything demonic!
