Arepas Reina Pepiada receta ⬇️🇻🇪 Ingredients For boiling the chicken: * 2 chicken breasts * ½ onion * 2 garlic cloves * 1 bay leaf * Salt, to taste * Water For the chicken filling: * 2 ripe avocados * ½ cup mayonnaise * Juice of 1 lime * Salt and black pepper, to taste For the arepas: * 2 cups pre-cooked white cornmeal, such as P.A.N. * 2½ cups warm water * 1 teaspoon salt * ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese * ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese * Oil or butter, for cooking 1. Add the chicken breasts to a pot with onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and enough water to cover them. Boil until the chicken is fully cooked. 2. Remove the chicken, let it cool, and shred it. 3. In a bowl, mash the avocados. Add the mayo, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix in the shredded chicken and set aside. 4. For the arepas, mix the warm water and salt. Slowly add the cornmeal and mix with your hands. 5. Add the feta and mozzarella cheese. Mix again and let the dough rest for 5 minutes. 6. Shape the dough into arepas and place them in a lightly oiled pan. The trick is to cook them on low heat for 10 minutes on each side so they don’t burn and cook all the way through. 7. Cut them open, add the chicken filling, and enjoy! • • • • @pan_us @caraway_home #venezuela #latinacontentcreator #arepas #reinapepiada #arepasvenezolanas

Top with the remaining plantains, pour the rest of the eggs over the top, and finish with more mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30–40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
