“What’s your thought process while running a marathon?”
The road less traveled.
These are 3 things I constantly say to myself in training and in competition. 
Don’t be afraid to have audacious goals. Put them out in the universe even if they scare you. 
Cherish the struggles, challenges, and difficulties of chasing what you want because doing hard things is a privilege. 
There will always be doubters and naysayers along the way and maybe it will even be yourself sometimes. But with the proper plan and commitment to hard work, it can be done.

I’ve won my last 3 HYROX Pro Solo races and this is how I train- no bullshit.
1. HYROX is a running race. As someone who doesn’t come from a running background, getting better at moving faster and more efficiently is the most important thing for me. Even in season, I’m still pushing 50ish miles per week. Quantity isn’t enough- the quality is where you have off minutes. Build your training plan around the quality run sessions and work your way down with extra z2 running and cross training, lifting, and Hyrox specific work.
2. Living in Threshold on hard days. I’m generally doing double threshold days 3x per week with the morning session being run focused and the afternoon session either on machines or HYROX mixed modality work.
3. Stacking Z2 volume on easy days. These easy days are still pushing 3 and up to 4 hours of total workload, but my HR isn’t getting above 140bpm. The goal is to get as much volume in as I can while still being able to recover for my hard days.
4. Weight training and CrossFit style workouts are used to compliment my Hyrox performance, not to feed my ego. Lower body strength work is a lot more tailored to Hyrox specific movements than it was in the past. I’m trying to push as much weight as I can that I’m still able to recover for my next priority run or HYROX session. No more, no less.
