We Think You’re Gonna Love This One, Boss Loaded Potato Soup 4 large Russet potatoes cleaned 4 tbsps butter 2 tbsps garlic 1/2 chopped yellow onion 1/2 cup Flour 3 cups Milk 4 cups chicken stock (divided in half) Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste 1/2 cup sour cream 16 oz velvetta cubbed 3-6 crumbled strips of bacon Optional*** Garnish with bacon and green onion Poke holes in the potatoes with a fork, microwave them for 12 to 15 minutes until tender. Halve the potatoes and cut into chunks to cool In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until the onion is translucent Slowly whisk the flour into the pan and stir til slightly browned. Slowly whisk in the milk 1 cup at a time. Then add the 1/2 chicken stock. Bring to a light simmer and whisk in the salt, garlic powder and pepper. Let come to a light simmer and thicken stirring occasionally Add velvetta, bacon and the sour cream and stir til smooth Turn off heat, and fold in potatoes I garnish with green onion and a little bacon and my wife LOVES IT, good luck! Ps: I use half the chicken stock when I cook the soup and when I put it away for leftovers I add the additional 2cups to thin it out…. It’s been awhile, hope you are doing well Steak Stir Fry -2 Strip Steaks cut into bite sized pieces -4 eggs -4 cups day old rice -1 bag frozen stir fry mix veggies -Teriyaki sauce too taste -Garlic and butter seasoning to taste -2 tsp’s MSG -1 tbsp sesame oil -3 tbsps high heat cooking oil -(optional)sesame seeds, Japanese bbq sauce, yum yum sauce to garnish Preheat oil in wok at medium high heat Season steak with garlic butter seasoning using teriyaki sauce as a binder Heat frozen veggies to almost done in microwave or in steamer and set aside Add steak to pan and cook til almost done Remove from pan and add eggs Scramble til cooked making sure to keep eggs moving so not to burn Add rice mixing constantly so not to burn eggs in pan Add sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, msg and additional garlic butter seasoning if desired (I usually add 1 tbsp of teriyaki mix for a minute and add more til desired color on rice is achieved) Return steak to pan, turn off heat and stir til mixed Serve hot, optional garnish with green onion, sesame seeds, yum yum sauce, hot honey, Japanese bbq sauce, or whatever you love to eat your stir fry with #steakfriedrice #dinner #mealideas #holmescooking

My Kids Keep Asking Me To Make This… Now You Know Why PB & J Cake 1 box yellow cake mix 1 cup peanut butter 1 stick melted butter 1 1/4 cup milk 4 eggs 1 cup Jelly Topping 8oz whipped topping 1/4 cup each of jelly and Peanut butter Optional*** Chopped Peanuts Preheat oven to 350º In large mixing bowl add cake mix and peanut butter mixing until crumbly Mix in milk and eggs til completely incorporated, batter will be chunky Pour into lightly greased 9x13 cake pan and bake 30-40 mins or til toothpick comes out clean Let cool on counter for 15 mins Using a rounded kitchen utensil poke holes across the top of the cake In a microwave safe bowl add cup of jelly and microwave in 30 sec intervals til runny, pour evenly over the top of the cake Place cake in fridge for 2 hours to cool completely Once chilled spread on whipped topping and microwave remaining jelly and peanut butter to pour over (optional mix peanut butter with whip topping before spreading) Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired and serve Tastes Exactly like a Pb and J, the cake mixed with the peanut butter gives it a bread taste too. Had the privilege spending time down South for my 33rd birthday this weekend, I’ve never stayed in Louisiana before and I really enjoyed the time. Got to meet some long time internet friends like @justin.stagner and @watchthethronetp along with hearing my pastor preach not once but twice in two different places. I don’t often talk about personal updates but wanted to tell you thank you for your support on all my videos. It’s wild to be hundreds of miles away and be recognized frequently everywhere Appreciate you guys, more videos coming up
This is what I make, when we don’t want to cook Foil packet dinner 2lbs ground beef 1/2 head of cabbage 3-4 large potatoes cubed 1 chopped onion Chopped carrots (as many as you want) 1 stick butter (optional) 1/4 cup water SPG seasoning to taste (salt pepper garlic) Your favorite burger seasoning to taste *optional* Ranch packet over veggies Garlic Parmesan sauce over veggies -preheat oven to 350* -place potatoes, carrots, onions in bottom of 9x13 pan -drizzle olive oil and SPG seasoning over veggies -make equal size Patties with ground beef and cover veggies in pan and season with burger seasoning to taste -cover evenly with pats of butter, then add all cabbage -pour in water and cover with foil tightly. Bake at 350 for 75mins or til veggies desired tenderness and meat cooked through -serve hot, my wife likes hers with ketchup and I really like a little garlic Parmesan sauce with the veggies Hope you love this one pan meal, it’s been an easy throw and go when we want something hearty that’s delicious. This is what I make, when we don’t want to cook Foil packet dinner 2lbs ground beef 1/2 head of cabbage 3-4 large potatoes cubed 1 chopped onion Chopped carrots (as many as you want) 1 stick butter (optional) 1/4 cup water SPG seasoning to taste (salt pepper garlic) Your favorite burger seasoning to taste *optional* Ranch packet over veggies Garlic Parmesan sauce over veggies -preheat oven to 350* -place potatoes, carrots, onions in bottom of 9x13 pan -drizzle olive oil and SPG seasoning over veggies -make equal size Patties with ground beef and cover veggies in pan and season with burger seasoning to taste -cover evenly with pats of butter, then add all cabbage -pour in water and cover with foil tightly. Pan Fried Chicken and Gravy Chicken 4 chicken breasts 1 cup flour 2 tbsps each of garlic powder, onion powder 1 tbsp paprika and creole seasoning Salt and pepper too taste 1-2 eggs Oil for frying Gravy 1 tbsp drippings strained 3/4 stick butter 1/2 cup flour 2 cups milk Salt, pepper, garlic too taste 1/2 cup of chicken stock and use to thin out Parsley too garnish Steps Chicken Preheat Cast iron skillet with just enough oil to cover to middle of chicken (1/2-1 inch) Press out chicken breasts thin or slice flat, coat in flour and seasonings Place in egg wash and coat evenly, then toss back in flour for an additional coat Let rest on a plate while oil heats up to 325 Once oil is to temp gently place chicken into pan laying away from you Fry til golden on both sides and temp is at 165 Remove from oil and place on paper towel to catch excess oil Gravy Strain and remove oil from pan, saving 1 tbsp minimum of drippings, melt butter in pan Once butter is melted toss in flour and stir in til incorporated letting cook for a couple mins to remove flour taste Whisk in milk slowly scraping bottom of pan to make sure roux doesn’t burn Add all seasonings and chicken stock, stir until desired consistency. If too thick add more chicken stock Serve hot, i garnish with a little parsley too brighten up the plate

When I say I’m gonna do it… I’m gonna do it Chex Mix 18oz Box Wheat Chex 18oz Box Corn Chex 4 cups kix cereal 7oz cheese crackers 2-4 cups of Bugles 16oz bag mini pretzels 16oz peanuts or cashews Sauce 2lbs Butter 2/3 Cups Worcestershire sauce 4-6 Tbsps creole seasoning 3-4 Tbsps Garlic powder 4 Tbsps preffered hot sauce Preheat oven to 225 In two large aluminum pans pour in all Chex ingredients equally and mix In a large pot melt butter and add Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and hot sauce whisking together Pour evenly over top Chex in pans carefully and mix (a lot of times people will put all the mix in a clean empty bucket or trash can and just cover it and shake it) but you can just cover and mix til butter is evenly distributed Bake for 4 hours stirring every hour to keep tops from getting over toasted Carefully remove and let cool before placing in ziplock bags to give away or enjoy later #chexmix #recipe #holmescooking
