GROUND BEEF ARAYES RECIPE ⬇️

🙋‍♂️ First time making arayes, and I will definitely be making them again. They’re loaded with so much flavor and when the whole family loves dinner that’s an added bonus.

I’m using my homemade mayo and tortillas for this…if you want those recipes so you don’t have to go searching for them, comment “MAYO” and I’ll send them right to you.

Although this isn’t how they’re “traditionally” made, I made them in a way that worked for me…and since it’s my kitchen…I’m allowed to do that 😉

Give them a try…share this recipe…and let me know what you think!

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs @goodranchers ground beef
6 tortillas (or pitas)
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp sea salt
6 cloves garlic
1/2 large sweet onion
1/4 cilantro
1/4 cup parsley

CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup homemade mayo
6 cloves garlic
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 heaping tbsp parsley
1 heaping tbsp cilantro

DIRECTIONS:
1.) Combine all spices and seasonings into a large bowl with your ground beef. Gently mix until combined. Set aside.

2.) Combine all sauce ingredients and mix together. Place into fridge.

3.) Fill tortillas or pitas with 1/6th of your meat mixture. Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat. Lay your arayes in the pan and cook until golden brown. Flip and repeat. Grab with tongs and brown the exposed meat edge as well. Set aside and repeat with remaking arayes.

4.) Serve immediately with garlic cream sauce. Save, share this video, and most of all enjoy!

“I think using animals for food is an ethical thing to do, but we’ve got to do it right.” –Temple Grandin

#InternationalWomensDay is the perfect time to highlight a trailblazer in humane animal handling and ethical ranching: Temple Grandin. Her groundbreaking work has transformed the livestock industry, ensuring that cattle are treated with respect, reduced stress, and proper care throughout their lives.

Temple’s designs for low-stress handling systems—such as curved chutes and quiet holding pens— have become industry standards, preventing unnecessary fear and discomfort in livestock. Her research has also helped ranchers and processors better understand animal behavior, leading to humane treatment practices that not only improve animal welfare but also produce higher-quality meat.

At Good Ranchers, we share that same commitment, sourcing our meat from American ranchers who follow ethical, Temple-approved livestock handling practices. We believe that better care leads to better food, and we’re proud to support farmers and ranchers who uphold these standards.

Lunchbox Madness, Part 9: Steak, Sausage & Eggs

Because Maverick’s lunchbox doesn’t do boring—and with GoodRanchers by my side this one’s got more protein than your average gym bro’s meal prep.

Here’s how I built it:
🔸Bone-In Ribeye – Seared 2 minutes per side, then butter-basted until it hit 120°F. Rested to a perfect 130°F.
🔸 Sausage – Cooked until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes of sizzle.
🔸 Sunny Side Up Eggs – Topped with chili oil, Parmigiano Reggiano, salt, and pepper.
🔸 Fresh orange slices on the side.
🔸 A little ketchup too—because why not?

This weekend was heavy. Losing our friend has left us reflecting on his legacy and the way he believed in us when very few did.

We’re humbled to see how many people have found us through that story. It’s just another reminder of the kind of influence Charlie had.

To those of you who are new here: Welcome. Our mission remains the same— to support American farms and ranches, strengthen families, and deliver the best meat in America straight to your door. We love this country and we’re proud to serve it one table at a time.

Thank you, President Trump, for calling for an investigation into the meatpacking industry.

For decades, majority foreign-owned processors have held outsized control over our beef supply, pushing ranchers down while driving prices up for American families. These corporations profit while the people who actually raise our cattle are undercut in the marketplace.

Ranchers are the backbone of our food system. Their work, land, and livestock feed this country. When they are undercut, rural communities suffer and our food security weakens. Supporting our ranchers means supporting our food independence, our small towns, and the people who keep this country fed.

It’s time to return control of our food to the hands of those who raise it here at home.
