I can’t stop thinking about the food at this new Seattle restaurant. Save this for later! . I absolutely love wine, so when one of my favorite WA wineries, @delillecellars, reached out about partnering to share their new restaurant with all of you, of course I said yes. . DeLille En Ville recently opened in University Village. DeLille is best known for their wines, but this space is way more than just a tasting room. By day it’s the perfect spot to grab lunch or a bottle to go while you’re out shopping. Or enjoy a quick drink from their daytime coffee counter that serves @herkimercoffee. Come nighttime, DeLille En Ville transforms into a lively happy hour and restaurant destination with a full dinner menu and cocktail bar. . First impressions are everything and, wow, is DeLille En Ville stunning. They worked with @designwellspentco to source a lot of local and thoughtfully-crafted decor to make distinct gathering spots, all with their own vibe. For example, The Club Room is a speakeasy-style tasting room and The Solarium feels like a garden conservatory! There’s also a semi-private event space in the back perfect for holiday gatherings. . Food wise we had a wonderful meal of French-inspired small plates. Standouts included: - Super-tender lamb shoulder pasta with olives and feta - Bright orange scallop crudo - Perfectly-cooked duck with huckleberries and puffed rice - Well balanced salad with local dried cherries, cheese, and hazelnuts . Of course we also had DeLille’s award-winning wine, their rosé being my favorite. I loved it so much, I grabbed another glass of it on a 2nd visit to U-Village! Flights are an especially good deal during happy hour at ~$12-14. . But what really surprised us was the cocktail program. It was so good! The Little Tom Gin Punch had green tea, pineapple, and gin that came together in a citrusy, floral combo. The mezcal-based Agave Buck with passion fruit was fizzy, citrusy, and well rounded with some smoke. . All in all, DeLille En Ville is making really good food and offering a much-needed day-to-night restaurant in U-Village. Definitely add them to your list for the next time you’re in the area!

The new U Village @delillecellars is a great date night or group dinner spot! Honestly a perfect solo dinner after shopping or errands too. But I especially can’t stop thinking about the butternut squash soup. I also appreciate how the Restaurant Week menu has unique items vs. the regular dinner menu. The new U Village @delillecellars is a great date night or group dinner spot! Honestly a perfect solo dinner after shopping or errands too.
