Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with healthier, EASY Bangers and Mash using our Cacio e Pepe Chicken Sausage! 🍀💚 Ingredients: - 1 pack of Amylu Foods Cacio e Pepe Chicken Sausage - 6 potatoes - 2 tbsp butter + ¼ cup milk - 1 large white onion - 3 garlic cloves - 2 tbsp flour - 2 cups chicken broth or bone broth for extra protein - 1 cup frozen peas Directions: 1) Peel and dice potatoes 2) Add to a pot with water and boil for 25 minutes until they are soft 3) Dice onion and mince garlic 4) In a large skillet add a splash of oil and cook chicken sausages until brown on all sides, then remove from heat 5) Add another splash of oil and add onion 6) Cook stirring until they start to caramelize, then add garlic 7) Cook for another 30 seconds then add flour, sprinkle of salt and pepper 8) Stir well, then poor in chicken broth 9) Let simmer for 5 minutes until it thickens 10) Add sausages and toss in gravy, let it cook together for another 5 minutes 11) Drain potatoes and mash with butter and milk, season generously with salt and pepper 12) Assemble plates with mashed potatoes, cooked frozen peas, chicken sausage and lots of gravy
