❤️Fasted Cardio (or ANY fasted sessions) — FUELLED is best you will always get more out of your workouts 

❤️Weigh myselfffff — the scale is beneficial is SOME circumstances but for most women the best way to measure progress is how you FEEL, how your clothes are fitting & progress pictures! If the scale goes up or down that’s NORMAL stay on your plan

❤️I rarely squat… because I genuinely just don’t like it. Stop forcing yourself to do the things you HATE. It’s a lot easier to be motivated if you’re following a plan that you somewhat enjoy! It’s not all fun and games BUT it’s easier to show up if you like your workouts! 

❤️I don’t drink greens powders. I just EAT VEGETABLES. There is no fancy supplement that will “fix” your bloating or magically make you lose weight! 

❤️I don’t believe in cheat days, I love chocolate and icecream and eat both of those things IN MODERATION, you do not have to cut out any foods that you LOVE to see results 

❤️I don’t eat protein bars— a waste of money imo. If you enjoy them, amazing BUT I’d rather eat a chocolate bar and get my protein from whole food sources like eggs, steak, tuna etc

I’ve been there 😭😭😭 

Doing cardio 6 days a week, eating salads and feeling like I didn’t “look” like I went to the gym at all 😭😭😭😭… here’s a few reasons you might be feeling the same ⬇️ 

💓You’re not eating enough PROTEIN 🍗 You might THINK you’re eating enough because you had a chicken salad or a protein shake for lunch… but my girl, 25g for the entire day isn’t helping you achieve the physique you desire! Aim for 1g of protein per pound of your GOAL body weight. Protein builds muscle, regulates hunger, and helps with that lean, toned look 💅 so yes it’s important! 

💓You’re SKIPPING carbs 😡 Carbs are NOT the enemy and I will die on this hill. Think about it this way low carb = low energy = low performance = higher cravings. If you’re training 4-5x/week, carbs are FUEL (and necessary). Think sweet potato, oats, sourdough, fruit etc it can ALL have its place! 

💓You’re only lifting OR only doing cardio. If you lift but never get your heart rate up, you’re leaving results on the table. If you are just trying to burn calories with cardio and never lift a weight you’re might resonate with feeling “skinny fat” (I don’t like that term yall just use it 🤣🤣😭😭) My girl we NEED both. Strength training builds the muscle, cardio improves the PEFORMANCE. Together = athletic + lean 💅 

💓You’re under eating during the week and binging on weekends. That 1200 calorie weekday grind followed by brunch, drinks, and dessert all weekend?You’re probably feeling starved through the week just to go overboard on the weekends. Which one, is not good for your mental health and two, not good for your progress either. This isn’t to say you can’t enjoy your weekends (I do too) BUT it is a reminder than CONSISTENCY>RESTRICTION ALWAYS. 

💓Your workouts have NO progression. You’re doing workouts that feel hard, but they’re not challenging. Just random classes, circuits, or influencer videos. Progress just means gradually lifting heavier, moving faster, or performing better OVER time. You need a real plan to follow if you want to see REAL RESULTS!!
