Sometimes it goes the way you think it will, and sometimes it goes the complete opposite 🤣

Here’s a little BTS of how I get ready for a postgame presser at the Stanley Cup Final

The NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins have an Assistant Coach job posted publicly online 🤯

I’m not yet sure if this is a real opening or something mistakenly posted, but the job description and requirements are legit! It’s fun to look at this, and who knows, maybe we’re finally getting more transparent job postings in sports 🤞

The Utah Mammoth unveiled their one-of-a-kind Zammoth today 🦣

Not only does it fit 8 passengers and feature it’s own sound + lighting system, but it’s built from the same Zamboni used at the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics! Super cool to see teams continue to innovate and entertain in new ways 👊

A degree from Harvard, a PhD in Chemistry from UC Berkeley, dozens of successful patents, a stint as an online hockey blogger, and now a Stanley Cup winning General Manager 🏆

Eric Tulsky carved his own path to the @nhl, and has now left his mark forever on not only the @canes, but also the way that teams will leverage analytics and build out their staff.

Congratulations to Eric and the entire Hurricanes organization on a remarkable season, and a well-deserved victory!

[ LRL X USHL ]
2026 FALL CLASSIC

Day 2 is in the books 🔥

Another full day of hockey, prospects making a name for themselves, scouts filling the rink, and plenty happening around the league.

We sat down after everything wrapped up to talk through what stood out, some of our favorite moments from the day, and what we’ve seen so far at one of the biggest weekends in junior hockey.

Two days down — and there’s still plenty of hockey left in Chicago.

One of my favourite things about going to these marquee hockey events is seeing just how many people are involved in making it come to life!

This quick pan of the 2026 NHL Winter Classic shows 68+ people working right around ice level, before we even begin to consider venue staff, front offices, concessions, ticketing departments, coaches and training staff, etc etc.

It takes an army to run an NHL team or event. There’s lots of opportunities out there 👊

Since last night’s @pwhl_sirens game at @thegarden was such a success, I figured I’d share a few of the fun things I heard fans say around me!

Our game only continues to grow, and getting to sit with new fans and hear their perspectives and reactions, is always very special.
