Seeing our new house for the first time! Ekk! We spent 8 years in basement apartments then 5 years in a multiplexes sharing walls. Grateful we were able to live with family for most of med school to avoid more student loans. We tried not to buy ANYTHING for the last year and a half so we could save every penny we could to towards a home. It’s been a long road but we have finally reached home. We are beyond excited to FINALLY have our own home. Especially to be able to settle somewhere for our kids who’ve moved around a lot. We picked this place for the yard and love the outside, we are so stoked to have our own tiny patch of woods. Now let the home/garden projects begin! Having a camp kitchen box makes is super easy to pack because everything is organized and ready to go & you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything. Makes meals at camp easier too! So here’s HOW TO BUILD A CAMP KITCHEN BOX : Tote (preferably one that is shallow with a clear lid so it’s easy to see and find what you need.) @ezystorage Camp Stove & Fuel (one with a griddle plate for more versatility & ease cooking.) @jetboil (for boiling water fast) Utensil Organizer (as simple as zippered pouches or as fancy as our @gregory alpaca case) Utensils & Cookware (you can snag some from the thrift store, dollar store, or use old ones you already have. Look for nesting pots and pans to save space.) Cleaning Supplies (small rag, biodegradable soap, scrubber, wet wipes, hand sanitizer. You can use the bin as a sink or find a collapsible one.) Miscellaneous Items: -Lighter & matches (some fire starting supplies too like dryer lint in empty toilet paper rolls) -Multispice container -Cutting board -Multi tool & can opener -Trash bags -Toilet paper -Batteries & Lantern -Roasting skewers -Aluminum foil & stashed bags -French press Let me know if there is anything else you’d add!
