today’s my twenty-ninth birthday. i never dreamed or imagined what my life would look or feel like this far into the future. but for the first time in what feels like forever, i’m truly and undoubtedly proud of the woman i am and becoming. i can say with so much conviction that i love my life. it took me a while to say those words and actually mean it. i feel so sure and so confident within myself. here’s to the last year of my twenties. my year of exhale. my year of full body yes. i love you for life, Amani. 🫶🏾
