Would you check out this hidden viewpoint in Rome? 👀🇮🇹

📍Aventine Keyhole, Rome, Italy

From the outside, it looks like an ordinary green door. But look through the famous Aventine Keyhole and you’ll find one of Rome’s most unforgettable views. The perfectly aligned keyhole frames St. Peter’s Basilica through a beautiful tunnel of hedges, creating a perspective that has amazed visitors for decades. On a clear day, this unique viewpoint lets you see three “countries” at once. You’re standing in Italy, looking through the headquarters of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, with Vatican City perfectly framed in the distance.

Tips ⬇️
🚶 Free to visit
🌅 Visit early in the morning or around sunset for fewer crowds.
📸 Be patient if there’s a line. Everyone wants the perfect view through the keyhole!
🌳 Don’t miss the nearby Orange Garden (Giardino degli Aranci) for one of the best panoramic views in Rome.

📍North end of South Padre Island
⭐️ Exact location ⬇️
26.24658° N, 97.18632° W

This is the furthest north you can drive on a paved road on South Padre Island, right where Park Road 100 ends. After this point, the pavement disappears and it’s nothing but miles of untouched coastline stretching all the way toward the Mansfield Cut.

➡️From here, the only way forward is driving directly on the beach, 4x4 is HIGHLY recommended.

Would you explore this part of South Padre Island?

LOCATION DETAILS 🍃⬇️

📍Hoh Rainforest, Olympic National Park

One of the most magical places we’ve ever explored. Towering moss covered trees, lush green ferns, and winding trails make it feel like you’ve stepped into another world.

⭐️ Know before you go:
🌿 The Hall of Mosses Trail is an easy 0.8 mile loop and one of the best ways to experience the rainforest.
🥾 Wear waterproof shoes since the trails can stay muddy year round.
🚗 Arrive early, especially in summer, because parking fills up quickly and the entrance station often has long waits.
🦌 Keep an eye out for Roosevelt elk, which are commonly spotted throughout the area.
