This is England’s most magical street…🪄🎃✨ 🕯️ The Shambles is a historic street in York, dating back to the 14th century and it’s certainly one of the most interesting streets I have ever visited; it’s one of the best-preserved medieval shopping streets in Europe! 📽️ And did you know The Shambles is not actually the original inspiration for Diagon Alley? At the time of writing the books, the author had never visited! The suite itself features its own staircase, entrance lobby, library-style bathroom, a large seating area and sweeping views across the grounds 🐈‍⬛ The grounds of the hotel are beautiful too, I enjoyed a lovely walk after breakfast - don’t forget to visit their friendly herd of Highland Cows!
