Decluttered the second part of Anna’s closet! It feels so good to make my way through her closet! I’m breaking it down into sections so it’s not too overwhelming. I knew my goal was to move her dresses down so she can reach them. She loves getting dressed on her own and most of her clothes are in her dresser but I like keeping her dresses hung up. Decluttering hasn’t stopped since our move! If anything, I want to declutter even more since our move. Moving made me realize we still have so much that we just don’t need in this season of life. I really want to do as much decluttering before the baby comes too! I feel so much more at peace when we have less stuff in our home. I’ve been needing to declutter some of the girls’ clothes that no longer fit or aren’t in good shape anymore. But now they are sharing a room and a closet, I want to be sure we are as organized as possible. The mess that was sitting on the floor started as a pile of things I needed to finish unpacking since we moved in, but the girls happily kept adding to the pile 😂 They were just grabbing things that were hung up and tossing them in the pile so it grew out of control so quickly. Being able to actually see their floor now feels so good! And we’re working on the girls not just throwing clothes on the floor again- but honestly, I struggle with that in my closet too so maybe it’s just part of being a girl 😂 I love the girls’ closet so much. Decluttering hasn’t stopped since our move! If anything, I want to declutter even more since our move. Moving made me realize we still have so much that we just don’t need in this season of life. I really want to do as much decluttering before the baby comes too! I feel so much more at peace when we have less stuff in our home. I used to attempt an entire room at once and I would never actually make progress because by the time everything was pulled out, I would be so overwhelmed that I would end up just putting it all back. After a great first year of homeschooling and tons of arts and crafts, this cabinet really needed some attention before summer. This sweet little corner of our upstairs loft area makes me so happy 🥰 My desk used to be in our bedroom at our old house so having even just this small corner to work at is a dream!
