If I could offer you one mom hack to help you get through the holiday season it would be @mychinet. #ad The Chinet Comfort® Cups are my companion for daily errands, ensuring that I never forget my coffee in the microwave and instead can always enjoy it on the go. We have holiday movies teed up for the foreseeable future which means making these hot chocolate kits in my Chinet Comfort® Cups give me serious mom brownie points. We enjoy them at home or on car rides to see the holiday lights. Savor every sip and memory with those you love and spend less time worrying about dish duty this season thanks to Chinet Brand. #mychinet

Dave surprised me with the most epic birthday celebration in Jamaica with my parents, my siblings and their spouses. Tears in my eyes knowing how lucky I am to love and be loved by them. Rich in life because I get to be their daughter, sister and wife. Best weekend ever!!!!

Always remember there was nothing worth sharing like the love that let us share our name ❤️🥲

Wear the low cut bikini, let your tummy breathe, have a beer with your friends, play in the pool by yourself, eat the chips and queso, go barefoot, let yourself be unpolished and unbothered and free! My self talk needs a break from being so critical on myself. Hot mom summer loading!!

Last week I put on a pair of pants that I wore a lot last holiday season and I couldn’t zip them up. I looked at a photo of myself in the pants, I analyzed my face, my stomach, my arms and thought what am I doing different this year? The truth is, I’ve gotten caught up in feeling insecure in my clothes and it shows. I was reminded that you could be doing everything “right” but as soon as that self doubt creeps in your body responds. It literally tells me to check myself and the question I usually always ask is “is it worth it?”

4 little words I’ve been asking myself a lot lately. Sometimes this time of year can stir up a lot of comparison. Everything from holiday plans, how your home is decorated for Christmas, outfits, overconsumption, have you volunteered enough at school, are you getting your workouts in, have you donated enough, party invitations, sending out Christmas cards, baking the cookies and squeezing every once out of this magical season. A little gut check that I like to do with myself is ask the question “is it worth it?” Is the self doubt I put on myself worth my energy? Is it productive? Does it encourage me to be better? Usually the answer is no. So I get up, pat myself on the back, tell myself that I am doing enough and everything in my power to the best of my abilities right now, that I love myself and I’m proud of this body and I move on!

I share this because acknowledging it gives me the power to move forward. To enjoy what’s in front of me! A little pep talk that may help you too.

Moved 5 years ago and feared I’d never find adult friendships like the ones from home. Look at me now!

This right here. In a warm home, curled up with my boys, watching a movie with wood cracking on the fire, watching Charlie color in the background, wrapped up in blankets. TOGETHER.

10 years of Charlie! 10 years as parents!!

I was one of the first of my friends to have kids and I remember trying to reassure them that “nothing would change! I would still be the same old Liz!” I think this fear of disappointing others started my own motherhood off on the wrong foot and once I committed to the fact that it changed me entirely, my whole life changed. The truth is that motherhood rips you open and pulls your heart outside of your body. Everything you thought was important doesn’t matter anymore. This realization has been the greatest gift in my life! Nothing comes before my kids and my family. 10 years of motherhood and my whole life has changed for the better! I love them so much.

Reflecting on the last decade of my life and the only photos that felt important enough to share were me in my favorite roll: mom. An honor that I will never take lightly! It has been overwhelming, consuming, exhausting, fulfilling and truly the best years of my life. Years that I already miss!! My 30’s have taught me so much but most of all how important it is to be present, take care of yourself, keep adapting and have fun along the way!

We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve made mistakes, we’ve danced, we’ve lost ourselves a few times and found our way back, we’ve moved, we’ve started over and here we are!! There is no where I’d rather be than right here. I’m entering a new decade so grateful and excited! I know a lot of you have been next to me as I’ve lived these moments so thank you for being here all these years ❤️ ILY!

What a gift to be nostalgic for your own life!!

This year my mom gave me some of my favorite ornaments from when I was a kid. As we were decorating our tree tonight I started crying thinking about how full our tree is today and how one day, my favorite ornaments may not be on our tree. Our home will be quiet and I’ll have boxed up all the ornaments I’ve bought for my boys for when they have their own trees to decorate. I thought about my parents whose tree isn’t as full, how in 8 years Charlie will be in college and how quickly time goes by. We are so lucky to be here right now, with the ones we love. I get nostalgic for my own childhood this time of year. The holidays always remind me how special it is to savor these days. ✨

24 brownies coming right up! Ok I have to say I feel bad that I said “shit” at school because I literally LIVE for everything fun my kids have going on at school. I cry just thinking about how special these elementary years are!! But it can be a lot and it’s okay to admit that.

Know your strengths, moms! Do I wish I had the time to bake brownies for the 2nd grade Thanksgiving feast? Yes. But my services are needed somewhere else (everywhere else this week) and I gave myself a break.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed by being everything and everywhere for all your kids during the holidays, I signed Dave up to serve the feast tomorrow so I could go to a workout class.

We’ve got this!
