told my husband that i’d cook more if we remodeled the kitchen so it’s finally happening 🤪 jokes aside, we’ve been planning this one for most of this year and after a few panic attacks and trying to stretch our budget, it’s finally all coming together !!

NORDIC KNOTS VS. AMAZON — comment “RUG” for the link. **(you might have to follow before commenting to receive the link, or else IG will consider it spam and block the message) my honest thoughts: the color “chestnut” is nearly identical to my nordic knots one here in my living room. and for a fraction of the price? i think it’s worth it. some things to note: • it takes a few days for the creases to come out since it has a thick backing. nk rugs don’t have that issue. • it’s a little less plush than nordic knots rugs, could be a pro or a con. • like all wool rugs, it sheds! but sheds a little less than nordic knots rugs. let me know if i can answer any more questions!

our kitchen got an infusion of warmth 🤎 swipe for the before! we kept the same cabinets + layout to save time and cut costs so we could splurge on our marble countertops and only replaced the kitchen island with these rift oak cabinets. i’m OBSESSED with the transformation. there are still a few corners of this kitchen that need work but we’re addressing those until the new year. i’m just so happy to have a functional kitchen for the holidays !! we never planned on remodeling our kitchen because we’ve been saving for our forever home but now i wish i had done this sooner. cooking in a kitchen you love is so much better 🤎
