24 units, 55 acres on the top of a mountain in Tennessee with views of 3 states for $800+ a night?! 🤯 It’s wild and true 👇 I got the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the founders of @boltfarmtreehouse, and you can tell—I was more than impressed. The bought land for $237K and turned it into something worth more than 100x that! 😮 Here are some of my main takeaways: 1. There’s more opportunity when you do less, better. 2. Narrowing down your ideal customer (ie, no kids) can be daunting, BUT if you’re offer is firm, people will find the value. 3. People remember how you MAKE THEM FEEL! The Bolts have mastered this, making their hospitality revolve around falling back in love, finding connection, and leaving forever changed. Stay tuned for Pt. 2!

What we learned spending time with @chipgaines & @joannagaines at Silobration: You can be a world-class host—whether you’re high-energy or quietly magnetic. Chip’s hilarious & unfiltered while Jo’s calm strength draws people in. You don’t have to stick to the script. Watching them felt like a mirror: the guys are spontaneous and can go off the rails, us gals keep the program on track and on time. Making people feel seen goes a long way. I was standing back a bit to give the band their space with the Gaines and Jo pulled me into the circle. Consistency is key —they’ve had the same vision, same place, same heart for over a decade. Surrounded by family. Grounded in faith. Celebrate all the milestones along the way. Chip’s office looked like a museum of all the clips and mementos they’ve gathered over the years. We were in awe. Still humble, kind, and present—the same Chip & Jo we met 6 years ago (see last pic). Oh, and… Joanna follows @boltfarmtreehouse and said she wants to visit! 🤯🤩 If (when) she does, should she bring Chip for a romantic getaway… or her sister for a girls’ trip? 👇
