I know I’m capable, I know I could’ve and I know the work I’ve put in with @runna has been worth it🙂↕️ unfortunately we just can’t control the weather or the day of the race and it got the best of me yesterday, like so many others!!
I will do a race round up but in the midst of the anger, upset and frustration… I feel somewhat grateful. how grateful am I to run a marathon? how grateful am I to be upset about running a 3:15? 🙂↕️
This is only fuel for the fire! Redemption race on the cards 🤝

being in a deficit as a foodie can be challenging but thank GOD we don’t slash our calories to low here 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️ sustainable = results !!!!!
this phase is so different for me but you guys wanted to know more so I’ll be sharing some more of the journey for you !!! the work I’ve put in with my food over the past couple of years has helped this phase so much easier 😅😅😅 for reference (and to stop the fear of calories) my maintenance was between 2,500-2,800 with training & racing 😎😎 no deficit results are the best without putting in the food outside of the deficit phases !!! you can’t diet your whole life !!!
Also, I was scared to mention the goals I have for a wedding because I feel the pressure that we ‘shouldn’t need to change the way we look’ for our wedding day’ which I AGREE but I do also think we should feel good in our skin for it and right now, after training for an Ironman, multiple marathons and races… I definitely didn’t 🥲🥲🥲 so the focus on nutrition the next few months is necessary for me to feel this way!!! 🤝
This is just another chapter in my journey I guess and I wanted to share it with you too📚
P.S could not be doing this without the guidance of @naomiclairefit 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️⭐️⭐️⭐️
