I took my mother to JAPAN. Feel unbelievably lucky to get to spend this time with my mum. We realised this is probably the first Mother’s Day we’ve been together for 15 years. Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum ever. Sending lots of love out to those who are having a really difficult day today. ❤️❤️

Some of the cool people I met on my first day in Afghanistan. Threw myself into the deep end in Afghanistan maybe a little too hard! There were several moments of intense anxiety and thoughts of “what the fuck am I doing here” followed by immediately feelings of calm and relief.

Here’s some photos and captions from my recent trip in China 🇨🇳 “Mike! Stop going on about bloody China!” Listen you. Just be patient okay. 2 more epic vids and I’ll be off to the land of the free. The home of brave. Something something Wendy’s and bald eagles 🦅 Here’s @honglinliyt on what we thought might be the world’s longest escalator. Turns out it was just an above average length escalator. Me in rather large cave Me in front of rather large cave (blinking) This was top 3 coolest place I’ve ever slept. It was like being in an Indiana Jones movie. I was expecting Harrison Ford to whip me like the naughty little boy I am. Other 2 are Great Wall and desert boat in Uzbekistan. God I nearly got tetanus on that boat. @honglinliyt and I had just filmed 3 massive videos in 4 days. It was mental and we were so happy. She was the best teammate ever and I will forever be in her debt. If you’re a US immigration officer please skip this photo. @smallbrainedamerican and I were drunk in this photo. He tried to touch me in the taxi.
