Have you had a chance to try Makita’s New 18v framing nailer? • It has the consistency and power needed to sink 3-1/4” nails into lvl without a problem • They also have added small belt clip and rafters hook on it • As all the other battery framing nailers on the market it does have some weight to it but you get used to it for the convenience of not dragging a hose @makitatools @makita.ca . . . #tools #construction #framing #makita #makitatools

Have you had a chance to try Makita’s New 18v framing nailer? • It has the consistency and power needed to sink 3-1/4” nails into lvl without a problem • They also have added small belt clip and rafters hook on it • As all the other battery framing nailers on the market it does have some weight to it but you get used to it for the convenience of not dragging a hose @makitatools @makita.ca . . . #tools #construction #framing #makita #makitatools

I’ve used battery chainsaws before, and honestly wasn’t too impressed by their performance. I think this is the first one I’ve used that I’ve actually thought could be a good replacement. Now they’re advertising it as comparable to a 50cc gas saw, but it seems punchier than that. I got into a conversation about how they landed on that performance rating, and apparently there’s a whole world of testing and comparisons to come to that number. I think it’s more powerful than 50cc, but due to potential litigation from competitors they went conservative with the rating(this is a whole can of worms in the tool world, and it’s a cut-throat market). I prefer a tool company to rate it conservative and deliver more, than to claim a higher number and leave me disappointed.
