Over the last couple of years, for the first time in my life, I’ve started to notice the impact that the quality of food I eat has on the way I feel & the way I perform. Especially with Luca & Mauro getting older now (waaaay too quickly 🥹), I plan to stay jacked/healthy forever & live to the age of 150, and the stuff I eat obviously has an impact on my ability to do that. I switched to Huel a little while back & I’ve already noticed the difference. Their stuff is high in protein (Black Edition shakes have 35g each) but also contain all the essential nutrients your body needs + 26 vitamins & minerals. Honestly, the difference is massive. AD | JOE WICKS’ KILLER PROTEIN BAR!! 🥴❌🏫 ❗️This is his marketing tool to claim that many of the ingredients found within protein bars & ultra processed foods increase your risk of cancer, stroke, diarrhoea and early death.❗️🤦🏽‍♂️ This is absurd for several reasons: 1. He doesn’t specify which ingredients in particular are problematic and in what quantities. 75% of the “Killer” product composition is mostly comprised of healthy protein ingredients. 2. The next group of ingredients are sugars, which equate to <7g per bar… that will NOT cause any harm.❗️Meta analyses shows that only when >15% of total energy intake from sugars (>75g ish) do we start to see increases in heart disease risk. (PMID:36296910). 3. The remaining tiny % of ingredients are mostly vitamins and minerals with a few sweeteners and preservatives in TINY amounts… when discussing whether something is harmful or safe.. you HAVE to discuss the DOSAGES and critically review whether they’re in safe or unsafe amounts which he hasn’t done at all.❗️🤦🏽‍♂️ ❗️This campaign is really not helpful and is doing the exact thing he claims to be calling out… he’s using misleading marketing tactics and sensationalism to promote a product.. Huel has been a constant — quick, reliable energy for me and the team when we don’t have time to stop. Arizona was unforgiving, and recovery windows are short, so getting something in fast makes a huge difference. We were shocked that the most emotional part of the day was not TJM climbing a mountain. This epic video shows what happened next took everyone by surprise. Jack Clarke set out to climb Mount Snowdon for 30 hours straight. Up. Down. Again. And again. 🌧️ Torrential rain turned paths into streams. In the pitch darkness of night, those streams became rivers. Still, Jack refused to give in. (He had a lot of Huel in him!) Then came the moment none of us expected. Halfway up the mountain, through the mist and rain, a small figure appeared. ➡️ It was The Joshie-Man. Jack could not contain his surprise. Disbelief. Joy. Tears. And then spontaneous applause broke out around them. 👏 What carried Jack wasn’t just grit - it was the people. It was the love ❤️ That moment with #TJM showed that Jack will forever be remembered as a hero for the autistic community. TJM has demanded that we #LetThemHaveTheirVoices. Today, you represent society’s response! Your voice matters as much as these two heros. Every comment, like, and share helps carry this story further and strengthens the call for change.
