Shit happens. Massive crash from Q1 today, happy to say that I walked away from this one. I’m mostly in one piece, just a few scratches and bruises… Been a pretty rough season so far but that’s how it goes sometimes, hopefully it’s all up from here, on to La Thuile.

Haven’t posted in a while. Been a tough season so far battling injury. In February earlier this year I slipped 2 discs (that are putting pressure onto my nerve) in my lower back that kept me off the bike for 8-9 weeks, after my crash in Val Di Sole I re-aggregated that injury keeping me off the bike again for La Thuile, Andorra, and over the past few weeks. Sitting out races is my least favourite thing as an athlete but with the new race schedule rest days are far and few between. Priority one for me is my health and making sure that I am working through these injuries so I can consistently race,ride and perform for the races and years to come. That being said, it’s been a really tedious process working through this but I am lucky to have the people around me that I do. Things are slowly getting better and I am working as hard as I can towards full health for the end of this race season. I had my first day on my DH bike yesterday in over a month yesterday and I can say riding bikes is the best shit ever…. Thank you to my team and to those all around me 🙏🏼 @specializedgravity @redbullcanada @swatch @oakleybike
