For the 2025 Japanese GP, the special helmet design draws deeply from traditional Japanese culture. The indigo pattern is inspired by Jinbei, a traditional Japanese summer garment. This incorporates this element with hope that he can approach the race in a relaxed state of mind. On the back, Fujin (Wind God) and Raijin (Thunder God) are depicted. Representing the image of attracting a god-like performance, no matter the weather conditions. The Edo Kiriko glass-cutting motif on the front and sides called Kiku-tsunagi or “linked chrysanthemums” represents longevity and joy.
