I cannot believe the next time I see this car (and the Autech Stagea 260RS) they will be in the USA. 🫠🤯 It’s gonna be an emotional rendezvous for sure with so many memories being made in Japan with them. A few of you have messaged me asking why I’m not leaving a car in Japan. The answer is simple, tariffs. If I leave them there, the possibility of financially being unable to ever bring them to the States is very real. Seize the day homies!

🔥HOT TAKE - Wingless S15s are SEXY!🔥 Don’t kill me……. Arrived in Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon, to visit with friends and to see the newest addition to the @roundcatgarage collection! The 2000 Autech Version S15 Coupe. With the R34 and 260RS no longer in Japan, it left us without a car to use during our frequent trips. I’ve had the team at @toprank_global on the hunt for a nice unmolested example for the better part of two years and they finally found one thats close enough and suits our needs. Besides the wheels and shocks everything is in tact. We just love the freedom having a car in Japan provides us to venture where and when we want without restriction. The team at TopRank registered this one for us for two years here in Japan so it’s time to start planning some epic drives! The Autech Version S15 is built as a Spec R without the turbocharged SR20DET. Rather it sports a high comp NA 2.0 SR20DE w/ high lift cams, a racing exhaust manifold and bespoke ecu tuning putting out 200hp. The S15 coupe consisted of only 1875 units worldwide and its now known as one of the rarest factory S15 models ever made. Most of these cars perished as the NA 4 cylinder was desirable for other platforms and the chassis were repurposed for track use w/ the turbo variant. All that to say we’ve added a third Autech Version to the fleet and we’re excited to make new memories in Japan with it!

Our biggest project to date! A Ford GT that has been sitting dormant after it was crashed since 2007. Ironically, when I was working at @falkentire in 2008, I had made contact with Doran Racecars as they were preparing an IMSA GT2 Ford GT to be raced for Falken Tire in the American LeMans Series by Blackswan Racing. I flipped back through my contact list and phoned Kevin Doran hoping he could still produce us the ultimate aero package. After 30 minutes on the phone where the conversation started as “no” and after some smooth talking, turned into “when do you need it by?” we were on our way to creating and resurrecting a full dry carbon, VERY unique road going Ford GT! Hit the @throtl YouTube channel today to see the drama unfold. Being @nissan stopped production of the Nismo Off-Road edition long ago, I figured why not build my own version using their parts, some parts from @z1offroad and even @wilwooddiscbrakes. I called up my long time friend, and Nissan fanatic @chrisforsberg64. We had a great time tossing on the @nismopartsusa lift kit as well as most of the Nismo parts catalog. I spent two solid weeks at @tpcollisioncenter doing a ton of the body mods and detail work to get the Doran GT2 carbon fiber body fitting properly and making it uniquely ours. The plan is to be able to street drive this thing so I wanted to visually blur the lines between racecar and useable road car. It’s coming out rad! After what seems like a million visits, I recently got to check out @nissan’s Omori Factory from the “good side” of the glass wall where all the magic happens. 🤣 Always impressed with the cleanliness of the workshop and honored to get check out these masterpieces up close and personal.
