Meet Nate from Pontious Ranches. 🐄 Pontious practices mixed-species regenerative farming — cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens all working together across the same pastures. Their cattle graze on grass supplemented with organic fruit and vegetable pulp from Alchemy Organics, and the result is beef that tests lower in fat and higher in vitamins and minerals than the USDA baseline for grass-fed. We evaluate every product at Radius across five factors: breed, diet, lifestyle, harvest age, and processing, and Pontious is high integrity across the board. A limited supply arrives the week of March 23rd. Followers can pre-order up to 10lbs by emailing orders@eatradius.com. We’re the only retail source of Pontious Ranches beef, and we’re excited to share it with you.

Most places don’t sell it because they’re not breaking down whole carcasses, but that’s the beauty of whole animal butchery — you get access to cuts like this that you’ll never find at a grocery store. How we make pork skin dog treats! As a whole animal butcher shop, utilization shows up in a lot of ways. When we break down pork loins, we save the skin and dehydrate it instead of discarding it. It becomes something that your pets will go crazy over, but more importantly, it’s part of how we think about respecting the whole animal and minimizing waste at every step.

Porchetta was one of the first items to sell out, and the requests for more haven’t stopped. It’s coming for the winter holiday pre-orders, and we’re grateful it’s become part of your seasonal tables. ❤️

Most pork you find at the grocery store comes from animals raised in warehouses, harvested at six months, and fed whatever is cheapest. Yonder Way pastured pork is a completely different product. We get the whole hog in and our butchers break it down by hand so every cut gets the care it deserves.
