Spent two years wondering “what if”… turns out that feeling doesn’t go away until you do something about it. 😅

I was able to skip the dealerships and all the headaches that come with buying and selling a vehicle, and somehow the entire thing felt easier than ordering takeout. (Speaking of which, what’s for lunch today…?)

Shoutout to @clutch.ca for making the switch way too easy.

What would you pick… Porsche or Mercedes AMG? 👇

Every year, as always, I grab the new iPhone…

But what I’m most excited about this year (as is anybody else who’s owned one) is putting on a fresh @nomad modern leather case! That buttery leather, the protection, all of it. 5 years strong and it hasn’t changed!

I didn’t grow up with trips like this.
Travel wasn’t normal. It was a dream.

Once my business gave me the freedom to go, I made seeing the world through my camera the priority.

I’ve wanted this photo since I was a kid.
Finally standing here feels unreal.

Been dying for some warmer weather so I can head back down to New York City, and walk the streets with a couple homies and a camera.

I don’t know what it is… I’ve never wanted to actually live in a city. I’ve got far too much anxiety for that, and prefer the slower life my wife and I have built out in the middle of nowhere… but every time I’m in a major city - LA, NYC, Toronto, whatever it is… I just feel at the absolute top of my game. More inspired than ever before.

Kicking off a fresh week with the most photographed gas station on planet earth.

This is by no means a fact, but come on.. it’s gotta be one of them? 🤣

If you’re a photographer, you’ve snapped a photo of a Shell station, or you’ve at the LEAST considered it.

The ultimate iPhone 17 Pro Max combo 🤌🏼

So as a lot of you know, this little content journey I’ve been on started in the tech space. Shooting my phone and different everyday tech items I loved. Brands began sending me iPhone cases, chargers, MacBook cases, you name it - I was shooting it.

As my love for photography grew, I branched into a bit of a different direction and starting shooting anything I could put my camera too. Travelling the world and shooting landscapes is ultimately where my passion (currently) lives, but occasionally, I have to circle back to the beginning and throw the phone down for a quick snap 🥹.

I’ve been travelling through Switzerland and Italy over the last few days… my flight was on the 18th, and my new iPhone 17 Pro Max was delivered on the 19th (of course)… so needless to say, as much as I enjoyed the trip, I couldn’t wait to get home to this new beast of a device.

So damn excited to explore the new iPhone!

Oh and, during a stop in Milan, Italy, I had to grab the new @rimowa phone case to pair up with the wallet and backpack 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

My favourite photo I’ve ever captured.🇨🇭

So, long story… I had a couple client projects that brought me out to Italy and Switzerland, but if I’m being honest… the real mission was this one photo. Hotel Belvedere on the Furka Pass. Ever since I saw it in the Bond movie (Goldenfinger from 1964) it’s been stuck in my head. I’ve owned prints of it, even bought the Accidentally Wes Anderson book just because it was on the cover. Before I ever even picked up a damn camera, this was a must-see spot for me.

The brand I was shooting for didn’t necessarily need this part of Europe, but I wanted something epic… somewhere that both worked conceptually with the product I was shooting, and could sort of help “re-spark” the passion. I feel like I’ve been gassed lately, and needed a good reset. This did just that…

In between all the brand work and pasta… I couldn’t stop thinking about this shot. The way the road wraps around the hotel, the mountains framing it perfectly… it’s just one of those dream spots, and I was only a couple days away from shooting it.

Fast forward to the day… (yesterday, the 22nd) the weather?… absolute nightmare. The pass sits around 8,000 feet and it’s usually buried in clouds. This was next level 😭… We hit thunderstorms, sheets of rain, zero visibility. I thought it was over. But about 20 minutes out, the sky cracked open just enough to give me everything I was hoping for. Insane light (moody, if you will), pockets of clouds, and wet pavement for that extra spice. All things a photographer wants to happen when shooting a dream spot.

Anyways, after all these years, I finally got it. And this right here is my favourite shot I’ve ever taken.

I’m so damn blessed that I’m able to turn my work, into this. Being able to see things I’ve dreamed of, and capture them myself? It’s unbelievable. Literally just rambling at this point but it’s 10:36pm and I’m laying in my Air Bnb, somewhere an hour outside of Zürich, dreading my flight tomorrow… so, enough.

Thank you for reading!

Here we are, almost 1 year later, and I still haven’t captured a photo I love even half as much as this one.

The second I picked up a camera for my very first time, this was one of the photos I wanted more than anything. And honestly, with the way the weather and clouds were going this day, I really didn’t think it was going to happen.

Surely enough, clouds broke, sun came through, and helped frame the most epic shot of Hotel Belvedere.

Man, I love photography. 🇨🇭

I’ve spent so much time dialing in my workspace… and somehow ignored the one thing I use all day.

Shoutout to @haworthinc for sending over their Fern chair! I went with the digital knit fabric + aluminum base in Ember.

Looks unreal, but the way it moves with you while working is the real game changer.

Been testing the new @moft.us Dynamic Folio and it might be the cleanest iPad setup I’ve used. Ultra-light, super flexible angles, and the pencil holder is actually genius.

Oh and… MOFT’s Holiday Sale is live:
Free Pencil Holder with every Dynamic Folio or save $10 when you pair it with the Connected Case. Plus up to $50 off sitewide.

TGIF Carry.

This might have been one of the hardest weeks I’ve had in a long time. I got absolutely railed by what feels like strep throat (literally feels like I’ve been swallowing razor blades), body aches, chest cough, stuffy nose, the whole damn 9 yards - it’s been ROUGH.

Been so damn active on my workouts and running, but had to take a major break on that this week and it’s been mentally eating me alive. I keep trying to tell myself to let my body heal, and a week off isnt the end of the world - but holy smokes, can you ever feel the break mentally.

Feeling a bit better today, so it’s almost back to it 💪🏼

Swipe for a tutorial on this one 🫡

This one may end up going down as one of my favourite photos of 2025.

Not only am I arguably one of the biggest Stranger Things fans out there… (no seriously, I’ll battle for that spot), I’m also a huge sneaker head. So when @nike and @strangerthingstv announced these new Dunks, I literally had no choice but to snag them.

Now of course, they sold out right away… but luckily @stockx had my size 🫡

This shot was obviously inspired by The Upside Down, so we had to hit it with those cool, blue tones, and get the iconic waffles from El in there. Little bit of masking to add some drama, cracked up the concrete floor, and of course add in the Upside Down spores & particles floating around the scene.

Swipe to the 3rd frame to see how I did it!

Anyways, who’s stoked for November 26th?!

01: Shoot One Photo Every Single Day

Not a full shoot. Not content. Just one photo you actually like. It forces you to notice light, composition and moments in completely normal situations. Coffee cup, your favourite shoes, whatever. You’re basically training your eye even when there’s “nothing” to shoot.

02: Bite Off More Than You Can Chew

Take the job that makes you a little nervous. Shoot something you’ve never shot before. Say yes before you’ve completely figured out how you’re going to pull it off. Some of my biggest jumps have come from being forced to figure shit out because I was already committed. Trust me, it’s scary as fuck. But it helps… a lot.

03: Put The Camera Down, Occasionally

Hear me out… because I know this completely contradicts number 1 😅… Sometimes the best thing I can do for my photography is stop shooting for a few days. Go for a run. Spend a few days trying to PR your bench press. Play golf. Do literally anything else.

Giving myself some distance usually makes me miss creating… and when I finally pick the camera back up, I’m way more excited to make something.

04: Stop Trying To Make Every Photo Impressive

Not every photo needs an insane location, perfect light or some elaborate concept. Learning to make an ordinary person, room, street corner or everyday moment feel interesting will develop your eye way more than constantly relying on interesting subjects and the next big shoot.

05: Study Your Misses, Not Just Your Favourites

After a shoot, don’t only look at the photos you love. Look at the ones that almost worked and figure out why they didn’t. Bad framing? Wrong lens? Missed moment? Distracting background? Shitty light?

There’s a ton to learn from figuring out why a photo didn’t work.

Save this post for later if it helped!
