Ok finally sharing. My hopes of sharing is not for sympathy but to help others and maybe get more clarity on our journey. I was very hesitant on even coming forward about this because it’s emotional one and two I really don’t want to be overwhelmed by everyone else’s opinions. I’m genuinely thankful and open to others stories but I want to stand firm on being present in ours as well. I truly wholeheartedly mean this when I say this, I trust my body. I trust the lord in this path and I know that it’s going to happen but going through these seasons is hard. I want others to know you’re not alone and we can be strong together. Maybe this journey is to give me experience to help other women going through the same thing or to prepare me to become the best mother I can be. Or maybe both. So here it is miscarriage number three💔 First one we had a baby, heartbeat stopped at 7.5 weeks, body started naturally miscarrying at 9.5 weeks. I passed this one naturally at home. Second miscarriage was pregnant 11 weeks started spotting, ultrasound and bloodwork confirmed we had a blighted ovum. Miscarried at 11.5 weeks naturally at home, hcg wasn’t dropping for 6-7 weeks which pushed me to have an emergency d&c. Prior to getting pregnant which has happened very easily for us 🙏🏼 we went through extensive bloodwork, water ultrasounds and testing for any reason as to why this is happening. This was all done through an ivf clinic. Everything came back in good standings so we said let’s continue to try naturally. Two months of trying and we conceived naturally again. Third miscarriage most current bloodwork confirmed pregnancy, 9 week ultrasound showed no baby. We sat there in literal disbelief, how is this happening. Doctor comes in and confirms a molar pregnancy. 1% chance of this happening I believe, 1 in every 100 women experience this. Another emergency surgery following day. This one was a scary one with an outcome of a possible blood transfusion and even hysterectomy. Surgery was a success, I apparently fist bumped my doctor while in recovery and still loopy. But still not out of the woods for this one. Continued in comments *

Y’all, I did something yesterday that I didn’t expect to hit me this hard. ❤️ It’s been 12 years since I last stepped on a pageant stage — back when I won Miss New England 2014 — and this experience was a whole new level. Interviews, on-stage questions drawn from a bowl, and nerves I forgot I even had. 😬 But honestly? One of the most heartwarming experiences of my life. And it’s entirely because of the women I met. Every single one of them was genuine, warm, and the definition of a girl’s girl. I loved them all instantly. I’m walking away as 2nd Runner Up, Top Model, and Fitness Award winner — but more than any title, I’m walking away with so much gratitude and such deep honor to have shared that stage with those women. I did this for me — to give myself something to focus on, something to work toward, during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I’m so glad I did. 🤍 Thank you to @tcb_pageants for such a wonderful production — you made every moment of it special. 🤍 Miss Connecticut for America Strong. Good luck to all the ladies competing in Vegas in the coming months 🇺🇸

Part 2 of 2 & an UPDATE BELOW IN CAPTION: What hasn’t been noted is our journey through many tests and ultrasounds with an IVF clinic prior to our 3rd loss. Checks for thyroid issues, lupus, blood clotting disorders, gene mutations and currently awaiting genetic results. Everything has come back negative so hands up in the air on that. I’m not against IVF but my inside is burning with a fire that I don’t feel its in our path just yet. I feel I have more stones to uncover and I want to continue to trust my journey until I feel it’s my only option. I’ve recently just purchased a book to look into dietary and supplementally ways on how to improve egg quality. Although to some doctors I’ve come across that’s impossible as you’re born with your eggs. Being in the industry of fitness I know that nutrition plays a vital role in everything, how you feel, how your skin looks, hair, bowel movements, and so on. I mean I stopped using deodorant which most people would be like eww but how you smell is based off how you eat too. Once you stop using it though you don’t really need it. That’s a whole different topic but I do know your surroundings matter too. Our home is extremely low tox and I take pride in this and all our swaps and changes we’ve made over the years. In other news I received an update today!!! My levels have finally dropped into the negative and I can now start the next process of healing! The lord is so good! ❤️🙏🏼 I literally fell into Nick’s arms today just balling out of nowhere. That honestly had me so scared to my core, and given that I’ve been trying to be so positive it still had me at wits end.

I truly feel this has been my hardest one because my body wasn’t already starting the process. I had to have emergency surgery to basically remove the molar which is a tumor forming inside. Since then my hcg levels have been trending down and we went from 67 thousand to now 115. Now we just need it to come down to 0 but day by day I’m going to keep showing up!
