One alumnus at a time.    First stop: Tirana, Albania     Welcome to “The Alumni Diaries”, a journey across cities and cultures, where AUBG alumni invite us into their everyday lives, guide us through their cities, and talk about career success.  With just a backpack and a camera, AUBG alumnus and journalist Finn Perelstein (’24) travels from city to city, tasting local food, exploring hidden corners, and having honest conversations about life after university.    Episode 1: Tirana, Albania    We meet Irdi Duka (’22), Customer Success Manager at CData Software. Morning vs. Evening
First-year AUBG student and national and world snowboard champion Andrea Kotsinova took 1st place in the giant slalom at the National Winter University Games in Pamporovo. Competing since she was 10, Andrea has already built an impressive record, including a top 8 finish at the Youth Winter Olympic Games (2024) and silver and bronze medals from the Olympic Festival (2023). After her strong performance on March 17, she is now heading to the Junior World Championship in Italy next weekend. Let’s wish her luck!

Day two of Orientation Week brought students, recent alumni, and staff together for an evening of pizza, karaoke, and good vibes. Singing side by side, sharing stories, and enjoying a slice, our newest students began building connections that will carry them through their AUBG journey and beyond. It was more than just a fun night - it was the start of becoming part of AUBG’s tight-knit, supportive community.
