Around the World with @mozaiqsports 🌎🇺🇸 In Episode 13, we visit @imgacademy in Florida and Andrew Pichardo (@dr.andrewpichardo) Senior S&C Coach, working primarily with around 200 golfers aged 11–19. In a very repetitive sport that generally includes a low physical training age, he tries to incorporate a broad range of activities and movement patterns to build robustness and a joy for training. Since golf is an individual sport, he uses games and group activities to foster teamwork, communication, and increase engagement. He also believes they should be trained as complete athletes, even though golf is a highly technical and skill-dominant sport. At @mozaiqsports , we are very happy to see coaches around the world who are changing things for the better in youth athlete training and development. This motivates us to keep pushing our project forward and highlight the work of coaches who are raising the standards of athlete development. 🌎
