Healthy meal prep doesn’t have to be sad, dry and boring! I found out it’s $0 to see a dietitian through @usenourish signed up, and it changed how I eat. My dietitian taught me to prioritize protein, stop fearing carbs, and log my meals between sessions so we could see what’s actually working. That accountability is what made it stick — and the food is actually good. 94% of patients pay $0. Tap the link in my bio to book your first appointment. Make it happen. 💪 #nourishpartner #mrmakeithappen #MakeItHappen #highprotein #dietitian

Chili Garlic Crunch Green Beans 🔥🔥 When it comes to meal prep, it’s important to have options. This is one of my favorite ways to make green beans. I normally blanch them off in salt water, shock them in ice water, and then throw them in the fridge (cooked about 75% of the way) - so when it’s time to “cook” I just saute the green beans with whatever flavor I’m feeling that day and it takes literally 2-3 mins to finish cooking. Recipe: 1 lb fresh green beans 1 tbsp S&B crunch garlic mild (cheat code!) 2-3 tbsps low sodium soy sauce Make it happen AP seasoning Blanch in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and then drop in ice cold water to stop the cooking process. Dry and saute with whatever flavors you’re feeling… these chili garlic green beans are my choice about 90% of the time lol they’re addictive #mrmakeithappen #foodies #recipes #meal prep

Welcome to the world, baby Avery 💕 She wasted absolutely NO time letting us know who’s in charge 😂 Day one and she already had us stressed out with an unexpected trip to the NICU. Scared us half to death just to have every test come back normal. Apparently she just wanted to make a dramatic entrance… lord help me lol😭😂 Most importantly, our baby girl is healthy, beautiful, and finally here. 🙏🏽 There’s nothing quite like holding your daughter for the first time. A whole new kind of love, a whole new responsibility, and another reason to keep working hard. Special shoutout to Mom for being the best and staying strong in the face of adversity. ❤️ Our family just got a little bigger, a little louder, and a whole lot sweeter. Welcome home baby girl 😍 #makeithappen

Chicken & sausage jambalaya — rich, smoky, and done right! This is exactly how I make it at my restaurant! Save this recipe. I promise you’ll use it! Shopping List: 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs 12 oz smoked andouille sausage 1 onion 1 red and green bell pepper 2-3 ribs of celery 1/4 cup chopped green onion 2-4 cloves of garlic 1.5 cups long grain white rice 3 cups chicken stock Cajun seasoning AP Seasoning, Smoked Paprika, Chicken Bouillon Cayenne pepper to taste (for spice) Parsley Total cook time is about 25 minutes (covered and on low) Should you wash your rice? Yes.. but it’s optional Why rinsing helps: * Prevents the jambalaya from turning gummy or gluey * Keeps the grains distinct, not mushy * Gives you that classic loose but cohesive texture Pro Tip: Do not skip the step where you toast the rice in the accumulated fat and flavor in the pot, prior to adding the stock! Enjoy #mrmakeithappen #ricerecipes #onepotmeals #jambalaya #easyrecipe
