Halve the potatoes and cut into chunks to cool In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and onion and cook until the onion is translucent Slowly whisk the flour into the pan and stir til slightly browned. Slowly whisk in the milk 1 cup at a time. Then add the 1/2 chicken stock. Bring to a light simmer and whisk in the salt, garlic powder and pepper. Let come to a light simmer and thicken stirring occasionally Add velvetta, bacon and the sour cream and stir til smooth Turn off heat, and fold in potatoes I garnish with green onion and a little bacon and my wife LOVES IT, good luck! You’re gonna LOVE this one Bacon Breakfast Casserole 1lbs cooked and chopped Bacon 1 bag frozen potatoes 8oz shredded cheddar cheese 8-12 whole eggs Favorite breakfast seasoning too taste (or just salt pepper and garlic powder) Lightly grease a grill safe pan, spread whole bag of hashbrowns on bottom evenly Sprinkle cheese over hashbrowns, add all bacon over spread evenly pour over beaten eggs making sure to cover entire pan Cover Smoke at 400 for 45 mins or bake at 400 for 40 mins or til the eggs are completely set up. I usually just poke the center with a spatula to see if the eggs are cooked serve hot, cold, in a burrito. It’s good! If you don’t like bacon….use sausage, chorizo, ham or even just veggies! #mealideas #breakfast #holmescooking

When I Don’t Feel Like Cooking.. I Have This Recipe In The Rotation… When my wife and I first got married this was one of our go to meals that we leaned on. It’s EASY, no fuss, and cheap… kinda healthy too if you leave out the butter since it’s basically just meat and veggies… you can customize it anyway you like, using more or less of any ingredient and if you make it. Come back and let us know Foil packet dinner 2lbs ground beef 1/2 head of cabbage 3-4 large potatoes cubed 1 chopped onion Chopped carrots (as many as you want) 1 stick butter (optional) 1/4 cup water SPG seasoning to taste (salt pepper garlic) Your favorite burger seasoning to taste *optional* Ranch packet over veggies Garlic Parmesan sauce over veggies -preheat oven to 350* -place potatoes, carrots, onions in bottom of 9x13 pan -drizzle olive oil and SPG seasoning over veggies -make equal size Patties with ground beef and cover veggies in pan and season with burger seasoning to taste -cover evenly with pats of butter, then add all cabbage -pour in water and cover with foil tightly. Bake at 350 for 75mins or til veggies desired tenderness and meat cooked through -serve hot, my wife likes hers with ketchup and I really like a little garlic Parmesan sauce with the veggies Hope you love this one pan meal, it’s been an easy throw and go when we want something hearty that’s delicious.
