the only pre workout I need 😌 the question is, is it Robins forearm or my curls that is stealing the spotlights lmao 🤣 I donno what it is.. but my body is the strongest (weight wise) that it has ever been during this pregnancy! first trimester was absolutely the toughest of them all. in many ways. I think a lot of mamas can agree with that. but the third is my comeback and I am enjoying every second of it. jokes aside, I am very very grateful for my body and that I can continue to move! I don’t take that for granted 🤍

when I was pregnant with Collin, I got tons of negative comments about training while pregnant. 5 years has passed by since and even tho it’s not the same amount of comments, they are still there! women telling women not to do this and that. I am not telling anyone what do to.. but what I am doing is to INSPIRE women and strong mamas to dare to keep being active during their pregnancy (if the pregnancy is healthy and free from complications) and this is something that we need to spread awareness about!! 🩵 too many are afraid to train because of comments just like the ones I got/am getting! YOU know your body and your boundaries best, stay active for you and for your baby! here’s a session to save and try out for later 🤝🏼 details: 1. bss 3 x 10-12,10-12, 12-15 reps each 2. smith squats 3 x 8-10,10-12,12-15 reps 3. kas hip thrust 3 x 10-12,10-12,12-15 reps 4. cable step ups 2-3 x 10,12,10-12,(12-15) reps each 5. leg extensions 3 x 8-10,10-12,12-15 reps thank you for being here doing this together with me xx

THERE!! 😌 I’m not hiding my strength, I’m showing what it means to grow life and still show up for myself. pregnancy doesn’t put strength on pause - it evolves, adapts and grows, just like the life inside you! to the women who train through every trimester, show that beautiful belly 🤍

your pregnancy will always be unique to you! it feels like there’s a lot of comparison among pregnant women. how big your belly is. if you get stretch marks. how much weight you’ve gained. what your cravings are. if you’re working out.. etc. but the truth is, none of it defines your strength, your experience or your worth as a mom! some days you’ll feel like a superhero. other days a nap on the couch feels like a major accomplishment. your body is building a little human. you don’t owe anyone a flat stomach, perfect skin or to “bounce back” in a certain timeline. celebrate this journey, the mess around it and everything in between. this journey is yours, and that’s what makes it special & beautiful

let’s make one thing clear, there ARE other glute exercises out there. not every season is a hip thrust season, especially with a growing belly in the way. if you can’t do them, let them go! but if you don’t want to let go yet, these variations might help you move in a way that feels better. here’s 4 bump-friendly variations: 🍓 1. dumbbell single leg hip thrust this one gives you space for your belly, and you can easily position the dumbbell away from your bump. bonus is, it’s still challenging even without any added weight 🍓 2. dumbbell kas hip thrust similar setup to a regular thrusts, but with a shorter range of motion. you’ll still feel that glute burn while keeping the dumbbell off your belly 🍓 3. kas hip thrust machine if you have access to a machine, keep the pad positioned on your upper quads to avoid any pressure on your belly. great for control and hopefully comfort 🍓 4. b-stance hip thrust this staggered stance creates space for your bump and helps isolate each glute more. plus, it’s easy to adjust as your body changes and remember, every pregnancy is different. there’s no “one-size-fits-all” here and you’re doing the best you can xx

Birth vlog part 1 - June 11th. I woke up just knowing this would be the last day of my pregnancy. we spent the day at home, outside with the whole family. my parents were here to take care of Collin and Ari when it was time for us to go to the hospital. I told everyone I had a feeling this was the day. the day passed by and we all went to bed. I think I had been asleep for about 20 minutes before I woke up feeling a strong contraction. we checked in at the hospital at 2.17am 12th on June. they monitored me. my contractions weren’t that close together, but they were long and intense. as soon as the midwife said, “It’s hard to say if this is it or not”, I said; “I’m not leaving.” we asked the midwife for a membrane sweep to help induce labor. and she did. at 3.30am, we were moved to another room to see how things would progress. but I immediately felt stronger, more painful contractions after that. after 20–30 minutes, we called the midwife back because the contractions had become much more intense. we were moved again to a labor room. at 4.30am, I got nitrous oxide to help with the pain. after that, I lost track of time. but somewhere around 5am, the contractions became so intense I asked for an epidural (spinal). I remember saying to Robin, “what just happened?” when it kicked in. Holy moly! all the pain was gone and I got to rest for a bit. everything was happening so fast. unfortunately for a brief second, she somehow got stressed in my belly. I didn’t understand it a the time. but Robin did and when the midwife called in more doctors (as a standard precaution), he obviously got really scared! but she stabilised quickly by her own and in a few minutes they left the room again. grateful for the quick reactions if something would have been wrong! I kept my body moving, swaying back and forth to help her come further down. Robin was scratching my back and one of the midwives stayed in the room with us. everything was so calm and peaceful. I could still feel the contractions the entire time, but they were mild, eventually they started to hurt again, and I knew this was the moment I had prepared myself for. Where I would be my strongest. At 6.25 am I felt the urge to push. Robin was incredible, we were such a team! this was our strongest moment. He knew exactly what I was capable of and how to push me to my max. He counted every push and made me feel so strong. At 6.45 am Zoey was born ❤️ healthy and absolutely perfect. I’ll share part 2 soon. Zoey’s first meeting with Collin and Ari 😭
