CHOCOLATE BANANA PROTEIN PANCAKES 🤤🥞 Guys you are going to make this recipe over and over and over again. It’s so easy, and so delicious. The recipe makes is for one serving, so if there’s two of you, just double it! Also I’m not joking about the Iron Vegan protein - yes it’s delicious in these pancakes but I made a smoothie with it the other day and couldn’t believe it was vegan. This is how we get groceries in the middle of absolutely NO WHERE! The San Blas islands are probably one of the most remote places we’ve sailed to in the last few years. And as a food lover, and someone who adores to cook and bake, I was definitely concerned about having all of our favourites foods. But turns out I didn’t need to be worried. Not only can you get literal Amazon shipments down here, but you can also get cottage cheese and greek yogurt. 5 INGREDIENT PROTEIN BARS 150 calories DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YA… Holy cowwwww to say I am obsessed with these bars is an understatement. I literally wake up every morning thinking about them hahahaha. Oh boy. I got so many requests for this recipe when you saw it in my What I Ate Today video, so here you go! It’s honestly so easy and they make about 14 bars, which is one a day for you and your loved one for a week #math If you try these, post a photo of them and tag me, I want to see what toppings you choose!!! RECIPE: 2 cups oats blended into flour 2 servings protein powder (chocolate or vanilla) 1/4 cup natural peanut or almond butter 1/4 cup maple or agave syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract Water for mixing Topping: Sea salt 1/4 cup dark chocolate 1 tbsp coconut oil Whatever topping you love INSTRUCTIONS: Blend oats into flour. Add oat flour, protein powder, peanut butter, syrup and vanilla to a bowl and mix well. Add a splash of water at a time and mix until a very thick dough forms. Press into two containers lined with parchment paper (or use silicone containers). Melt chocolate on the stove or in microwave with coconut oil. Cover the bars with the chocolate. Sprinkle on sea salt, and your favourite topping. Leave in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight. Keeps well for over a week. Since when did life become about buying new stuff to make us happy. Since when did we measure success based on what we own (and how much of it we can throw away). Since when did we completely stop caring about the earth and where all our waste goes. Next time you open your Amazon cart, just think about whether you really need it. Or if you’re just getting it because your favourite influencer on TikTok is. Let’s try and be a bit more mindful of how much we consume and why. Blu showed me I was strong, and she made me want to be stronger. She pushed me to endure and learn how to persevere and look at each new day as a new opportunity.
