I’ve been silent these last 2.5 years about the most painful and devastating battle my family and I have ever had to face. I finally feel that my heart is ready to open up about it. In March of 2023 my loving Mother was diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma. The average life expectancy is around 12 months, and my entire family’s world was rocked.

My Mom is the pure representation of love and light in my life. She’s always there as much for comfort during challenging times as she is in joy in moments of celebration.

Every person that would ever meet her would tell me afterwards that they’ve never met someone that made them feel so seen. She had a gift of bringing the light out in people in a way that felt like pure magic.

She was the most intelligent person I’ve ever met, but also the most caring.

In November of 2024, after a painful 19 month battle with this cancer, her last breath on planet earth was taken while my family and I were sitting next to her, holding her.

I cannot put into words the pain I still feel in my heart every day from this loss. The last few years have just been awful, as if we were living in a nightmare we couldn’t wake up from.

No aspect of my life hasn’t been affected and today, I’m just trying to find my way through life again, without her alongside me.

I decided to make a video on our channel in her honor as I don’t believe anyone knows or understands not only what she meant for me, but also how she’s inspired the very work we share here with @YesTheory

I will be grieving her loss for the rest of my life and appreciate the space I have on here to share these words. Grief is all around us but rarely truly spoken about. May that change and may we learn to value life and our loved ones, especially our mom’s while we’re still lucky to have them in our lives. 🖤

To my beautiful mother, I will love you and miss you forever 💛

In the remote corner of the Mariana Islands sits Pagan — a volcanic island abandoned after massive eruptions emptied it almost overnight. But one man never left… 😧

For close to ten years, he’s lived there entirely alone, with no shops, no neighbors, no connection to the outside world. Reaching him was an adventure of its own. It took us days, countless miles across open water, and even a rescue after our boat ran out of fuel just to step foot on this forgotten island and meet the only person who still calls it home.

The third and final part of our three-part mini series is now live on YouTube 👀

8 years of knowing @willsmith and he never misses a chance to make dreams come true. Grateful that his adventurous spirit to explore the world and its beauty didn’t stop with him hanging upside down underneath a helicopter over the Grand Canyon 😂🚁 He’s now gone from the North Pole to the South Pole to share Earth’s most spectacular experiences and locations. If you love Yes Theory then you’ll absolutely love “Pole To Pole” on Disney+ and Hulu.

It’s the one year anniversary of when we met the beautiful and adventurous Dorothy, where we took an unexpected trip of a lifetime! ❤️

What started as a journey for @staffantaylor, turned into a journey across the world for Dorothy—making her the oldest person to travel to all 7 continents!!! 🥹

Your reminder that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. You never know what you’ll find on the other side of your comfort zone 🫰

Visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar was an unforgettable experience.

This sacred Sikh temple sits in the middle of a peaceful pool and welcomes people from all religions and backgrounds. One of the most inspiring parts is the Langar, the temple’s community kitchen where tens of thousands of people are served a free meal every single day.

Everyone sits together on the floor and shares the same simple food. Volunteers cook, serve, and clean throughout the day. It is a powerful example of equality, humility, and service 🙏✨

This is what happens when one of you goes to India and the other to Pakistan and meet at the border… you can’t just walk across! You’d have to travel for 24-hours in order to stand next to each other 🤯

We wanted to take a moment to look back at how far Reg has come since we met him… from a humble London cab driver to now being cast in a documentary AND in an AppleTV show 🤯

Dear Dad, for years I’ve carried this dream, to bring you to Machu Picchu.

I still remember when you said, about 10 years ago, that you’d love to see it. You’ve still to this day never been outside of Europe, but something about this place spoke to you. So when the chance came for myself & my dear friend @thomasbrag to go, I didn’t hesitate. I just knew - this is the moment I get to bring you. But life had other plans. With everything going on, and your back giving out just a week before the trip, you had to make that tough call. I won’t pretend it didn’t hit me. Because it wasn’t just about a trip. It was about us.

I made it all the way to the top. Stayed there for an hour by myself. The place was unreal, truly magical. And I kept thinking of you. My steps carried your name. And somewhere along the way, I reflected about that maybe it was never really about to reach the top. Maybe it’s about who we get to share this life with.

I read that most of the time we’ll ever have with our parents is already behind us by the time we turn 18 and what’s left are the moments we choose.

I get the rare honor to travel and see the world… and that’s because of you dad. For everything you’ve given during my childhood. For all the years you showed up working long days at the shipyard, providing financially solo for our family of six. I carry that hard working mentality with me everywhere I go.

We’ll get our moment. Maybe it was not here. Maybe somewhere else. Maybe even “better”. It’s coming.

Ps. The fifth photo is from my first-ever extra job - at dad’s shipyard 👷🏻‍♂️

10 years ago Yes Theory was just a seed. A wild dream 4 friends had brewed up, none of us with any filmmaking experience, winging it from the start. The only thing we had was blind optimism, friendship and a relentless drive to keep creating until it works out.

We burnt all our ships, left other great opportunities behind and disappointed many people close to us. Little did we know just 2 years later our little channel would grow by millions of subscribers and this wild dream would become reality.

Now, 10 years later, we are soon approaching 10 million subscribers with communities around the world and strangers become friends in almost 100 countries. And the craziest part, it would never have happened WITHOUT YOU!!

If there’s any lesson to take from this, it’s that believing in yourself even when barely anybody else does is the first step into changing your life. Don’t let people tell you what you can and cannot do, and then work harder than you ever have to prove yourself right. God only knows where we’ll be in another 10 years, but what we do know today is that we’re still hungry for more adventure, more connections and more dreaming 🌟

We feel blessed to still get to do this today and cannot express our gratitude enough for you being here and supporting us on keeping Yes Theory thriving 🕺🫶

They told us not to come here.
But I’ve never smiled this much during a trip.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family.
Strangers stopping us just to say hello. To share tea. To share stories.

Pakistan is filled with the most beautiful souls. A level of hospitality the world could learn from. It’s a good reminder that we shouldn’t always listen to what is said from far away.

The kindness, love, and hospitality of the Brunein people… we created and shared so many beautiful memories. We’re so grateful for the wonderful souls we met during this challenge that changed the trajectory of this entire adventure!

Who knew TWO Alan’s would change our lives?!

In case you’ve missed it, new video is out now on our YouTube channel. And you’ll want tissues for this one 🤧❤️
