Now I’m a big believer in quality over quantity always. But I also believe that budget should never stop you from achieving your fashion goals and that everyone’s budget is different. With this in mind, I tried out a $165 suit to see how it compares to a $1000 suit - so that you don’t have to. Was it worth it? Well, the fit is better than I was expecting and a little time at the tailor will definitely fix most of the issues I found. The fabric though, will always fall short at this price point. It’s mostly synthetic so even the small amount of linen won’t make it very breathable. In saying that, the jacket is unlined and the fabric is incredibly lightweight. With regards to sizing, I’m 1.78m (5,83 feet) and weigh around 67kg (148lbs) - my size is usually a 46 jacket and 30/31 trousers. After checking the size guide on this suit I went with a 50B though, I should have maybe gone with a 52A for longer sleeves and a slimmer waist. There is no better money you can spend than the money spent on traveling. I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited over 5O major cities in the last 20years and don’t regret a single cent spent. In saying that, travel isn’t for the feint of heart and it can be a little exhausting. I’ve found a few tips and tricks to make that easier so here they are: Travel Tip No 1 - I always fly with a military field coat of some kind. All the pockets just make moving through the airport with easy access to your essentials very easy. Travel Tip No 2 - Taking your shoes off at airport security is one of the most painful experiences and anything to make this simpler is a win. She’s with elasticated laces are perfect, not only for the airport but also the plane. Those floors are disgusting so wearing socks every-time you get up is imperative Travel tip No 3 - The wired headphones they give you are absolutely terrible. The audio quality is terrible and that wire gets stuck in everything. Get yourself a blue tooth transmitter and transmit the onboard audio to your own earphones.
