Minerals aren’t a nice-to-have. They’re the foundation your immune system runs on and most patients are never tested for them. Here’s what mineral balancing actually is: your body requires specific minerals like magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, and manganese to run every enzymatic reaction that controls immune function. Think of enzymes as power tools. Minerals are the drill bit. Without them, nothing works. Your immune system doesn’t just underperform. It misfires. That misfiring is autoimmunity. What depletes minerals? Stress. Poor diet. Toxin exposure. Years of eating less because your gut hurts. The modern world is essentially a mineral depletion machine and conventional medicine never checks. I had a patient, a successful entrepreneur, brain fog so bad it was affecting his work, bloated every single day, exhausted by afternoon. Doctors had run labs for years and found nothing. When we ran his hair tissue mineral analysis, the picture was clear. Heavy metals displacing his minerals at the cellular level. We rebuilt his mineral foundation, supported detox, and within months his energy returned, his gut calmed down, and his brain came back online. This is the work. Not another immunosuppressant. Not “managing” a diagnosis for life. If you have autoimmune disease and no one has looked at your minerals yet, that’s where we start. 👉 Comment HEAL to book an assessment with my team and find out what your body is actually missing.

Think about a house for a second. If there’s a hole in the wall or a crack in the floor, you don’t ignore it. You patch it. You fix what you can. You take the time to understand why it happened so it doesn’t keep coming back. That’s how I think about minerals. They’re not about chasing a finish line they’re about filling the holes so the system can stay stable over time. Health isn’t built in a rush. It’s built by consistently supporting the foundation. To learn how to interpret patterns like this in real cases, sign up with Vykon Customs and become a practitioner, and access the upcoming HTMA Case Clinic.

Magnesium plays a critical role as the gatekeeper for calcium. When stress burns through magnesium too quickly, calcium loses its regulation accumulating where it shouldn’t and driving oxidative stress. This is how tissue calcification begins. Not from excess calcium alone—but from insufficient magnesium availability. Mineral balance isn’t optional under stress. It’s protective. Want to learn more about HTMA? Most athletes are training harder, recovering less, and wondering why performance is declining. The missing piece is not another supplement or a new program. It is breath. Shoutout to @lisapitelkillah, founder of @vykoncustoms and @vykonsupplements, for the conversation that sparked this one. Chronic overbreathing quietly depletes your body's ability to deliver oxygen to your cells, drives up stress hormones, and chips away at your repair capacity every single day. It is one of the most overlooked withdrawals from your health bank account. When we correct breathing mechanics, we stop one of the most constant drains on the body's ability to repair itself. The foundations always come first: light, water, breath, food, movement. Breathwork is not a biohack. It is a basic. 👉Comment REPAIR to take a 2 min quiz and find out how deep your repair deficit runs.

For those who don’t know, Norman was involved in a hoarding case at a meth house that had 47 neglected chihuahuas. Norman was in the worst condition 💔 his eye was ulcerated, his tail broken, and he had all of his baby teeth stuck on the top row. He only weighed 3.2 lbs and didn’t know how to drink water out of a bowl. With that many dogs and no care, they probably all drank each other’s urine off the floor to survive. 🤬 Well… Our boy is now 10 lbs and thriving 💜 Shortly after we rescued Norman, we received a message from an incredible woman named @lisapitelkillah ! She is the Founder of @vykonsupplements and @vykoncustoms and wanted to help us help Norman! They took a hair sample and his bloodwork and measured out exactly what minerals and nutrients he’s missing, and custom formulated him his own supplements! 😩 How incredible is that?! We are so thankful to have met her and are so excited to start this journey to see how it positively helps our buddy! Norman is still available for adoption, and his new family would have to agree to keep up with his support supplements! Norm is about a year (Maybe) he is fully vetted and ready for his Happy ever after 🫶🏼💜 Norman must stay local to DFW- if you would like to meet him-🥹 https://form.jotform.com/leosfriendsrescue/adoption-application Thank you Lisa and Vykons for everything 🫶🏼 They even wrote “For Lil’Norman” on his minerals 😭💜 So sweet! If your fur baby is struggling with immune issues and could benefit from a custom-formulated mineral and wellness plan, Vykon is absolutely worth looking into! Please go follow them 🙏🏽

What if your exhaustion has nothing to do with age, stress, or "just being busy"? @lisapitelkillah, founder of @vykoncustoms and @vykonsupplements, joined me to talk about something most doctors never consider: mineral balancing as a root-cause driver of your Repair Deficit. The right minerals are not just "nutrients." They are the raw materials your body needs to repair, regulate, and rebuild. Without them, nothing else works the way it should. If you have autoimmunity and haven't tried mineral balancing, it's time. This episode is live on Substack and wherever you get your podcasts. 👉 Comment HEAL to book an assessment with my team today. Stress doesn’t just affect how you feel it changes demand. When demand rises, requirements shift. What looks “normal” on the surface may not be normal for the system under stress. Understanding that difference is key.
