“I felt my stomach jiggle… and I knew something had to change.” That was Brad’s wake-up call. He realized being lazy was holding him back, and while he used to tell himself he looked good already, deep down he wasn’t happy with what he saw in the mirror anymore. Before joining, he was scared of failing. Scared he wouldn’t stick with it or worried about what would happen if he failed. But he pushed those thoughts aside and committed. The first 3 weeks were hard — but he stayed with the plan and kept showing up. That consistency has paid off. Brad has more energy, more confidence, and feels happier with the person he’s becoming. What started as wanting to change physically has turned into something much deeper. If you’ve been putting it off, let Brad’s story be your sign. Change starts with one decision. 📩 DM us “READY” or email wellness@fitmotive.ca to get started. #FitmotiveWellness #TransformationJourney #MensFitnessMotivation #SustainableFatLoss #winnipegfitness

Sometimes it’s not that you lack discipline… you just don’t have a system that actually works long term. Taylor started working out during the pandemic and dropped 15 lbs. But without structure, it crept back—plus more. Energy was low, clothes stopped fitting right, and confidence took a hit. She felt it everywhere… even standing in a bridesmaid dress that didn’t feel like her, and on a hike she couldn’t get through. Fast forward less than 4 months. She’s down 20+ lbs—but more importantly, she’s rebuilt her body the right way. More muscle. Less fat. More capacity. She went from barely running 1km to confidently hitting 6km. And the biggest shift? She shows up for herself now—consistently. This is what happens when you stop guessing and start following a plan that actually fits your life. After pregnancy, a lot of women are told to “just bounce back.” There’s better advice. What actually works is rebuilding: • strength • energy • confidence • habits that fit real life For Sara. This was about feeling capable and confident again. We’re proud of the work she’s put in since joining Fitmotive — showing up consistently, communicating when she needs, fuelling properly, and proving that progress after pregnancy is possible without extremes. Helen’s story is one we see all the time… She didn’t struggle because she lacked motivation. She struggled because every time she started, she was guessing. She’d begin with the idea of success… but without the structure, the plan, or the understanding of what actually works. Eventually it would feel overwhelming, and the cycle would start again. On top of that, the gym itself felt intimidating. The fear of what people might think was enough to make walking through the door feel like the hardest step. Since starting with Shane, things began to change. Instead of guessing, Helen learned how to train properly. Instead of restrictive dieting, she learned what foods actually work for her body. Instead of chasing perfection, she built a mindset focused on sustainable progress. She’s now down almost 40 pounds, but more importantly she’s doing things she once believed weren’t possible for her. Confidence. Strength. Belief. And one of the biggest pieces of the journey for Helen has been having the right support system in her corner — someone guiding her, keeping her accountable, and helping her see that she’s capable of far more than she once believed. Your journey doesn’t have to be a cycle of starting and stopping. If you’re ready to build real structure, support, and sustainable habits, we’d love to help you get started. It’s amazing how long we can avoid the one thing we know we need to do. We know we’re off track. We know the habits have slipped. We know the work isn’t getting done. Yet instead of addressing it, we push it aside and tell ourselves we’ll deal with it later. Later turns into next week. Next week turns into next month. And before you know it, the thing that could have been fixed with one decision has become a problem you’ve been carrying for months. Failure isn’t falling short. Failure is refusing to learn from it. Every mistake has something to teach you if you’re willing to be honest enough to look at it. Take the lesson, make the adjustment, and move forward. Because nothing changes while you’re avoiding it. Start today. Not when you feel motivated. Not when conditions are perfect. Today. The longer you sweep it under the rug, the less likely it is that you’ll ever become the person you keep saying you want to be. Helen will be the first to tell you—she almost didn’t start because of how uncomfortable she felt walking into a gym. She thought everyone was looking at her, judging her, and that she didn’t belong there yet. That’s when her coach told her something simple—focus on you. Put your headphones in, keep your head down, follow your plan, and just work. Most people are too focused on themselves to care what you’re doing anyway. She took that advice and ran with it. Even when it felt uncomfortable, she kept showing up. And that’s the part most people avoid—doing it before you feel ready. Now she walks into the gym with confidence. Not because the fear magically disappeared, but because she proved to herself, over and over again, that she could do it. That’s how confidence is built. Not by waiting for it—but by earning it. If you’ve been holding back because of what people might think, you’re not alone—but you also don’t have to stay there. We’ve all done it… bought certain BCAAs and then questioned our life choices mid-sip 😂 You don’t have to suffer to get results. I switched to Beyond Yourself AMRAP and never looked back. Why AMRAP hits different: •Clean, actually good flavour you’ll want to drink •7.2g BCAAs per serving: Supports muscle growth and recovery. •The “Golden 4:1:1 Ratio”: Provides 4.8g of L-Leucine. 1,000mg L-Carnitine: Aids in fat metabolism and energy production. •200mg Magnesium: Supports muscle function and recovery. •Zero calories and carbs: Ideal for various dietary goals. Who it’s for: • Lifters and hybrid athletes who train hard • Anyone doing long sessions, conditioning, or cardio • People who sweat a lot and cramp easily • Early morning trainers who don’t want heavy stomach feels • Anyone tired of pretending their drink “isn’t that bad” 😅 Head into your nearest Popeyes to get yours. Fitmotive members save 10% and get 4% cash back 🤩 Stop punishing yourself. Fuel your training with something that actually helps. #Fitmotive #BeyondYourself #IntraWorkout #TrainHardRecoverSmart #SupplementSmart

We all want to be strong and lift heavy, but if you’re moving big weight without feeling it in the area you’re targeting, your body is compensating — joints, momentum, or stronger muscles are taking over. That’s why technique, setup, and tempo matter before adding more weight. You should be able to: • control the range of motion • keep tension on the intended muscle • maintain position under load Once that’s locked in, increasing weight actually drives growth and strength. Focus on feeling it where you should be, before moving up in weight. We highly suggest sending videos to your coach (if you have one) to help review your form and provide tips if you need adjustments. 📩wellness@fitmotive.ca 💻www.fitmotive.ca #StrengthTraining #LiftSmart #MindMuscleConnection #TrainWithIntent #MuscleBuilding #ProperForm #ProgressOverEgo #GymEducation

If you want bigger arms, it’s probably time to stop doing the same curl every time. Here are 5 bicep curl variations you can rotate through to actually grow them: 1️⃣ Supinated DB curl 2️⃣ Hammer curl 3️⃣ Incline curl (good stretch ) 4️⃣ Cable single-arm curl (keep that elbow pinned) 5️⃣ Barbell/EZ-bar curl for strength Mix these through your week instead of guessing. If consistency feels hard, it’s not always a discipline problem — it’s your mindset. Most people run into the same trap of the all-or-nothing thinking. One missed workout or one off-plan meal turns into “I’ll restart next week,” and that’s where progress actually falls apart. Consistency isn’t about being perfect. It’s about how quickly you can reset when things don’t go to plan. You miss a workout? Get the next one in. You go off track at one meal? Lock it in for the next. What matters isn’t the slip — it’s what you do after it. The people who win are the ones who don’t let a small mistake turn into a full breakdown. They reset fast, keep moving, and stack more good days than bad ones. That’s how progress is built. If you’re tired of starting over, it’s time to learn how to stay in it. We’re here to help you do that, and provide the support along the way. Do you rush your leg extension reps? Just up and down not feeling much happening? That’s exactly why their quads don’t grow. The entire point of this movement is control and tension, not just weight. At the top, you should be locking in and squeezing your quads like you’re trying to cramp them. On the way down, don’t just drop it—control the eccentric and make your muscles work for every inch. This is where growth actually happens. Not in how heavy you go, but in how well you control it. Slow it down. Own the top. Make every rep count. If you’re training hard but not seeing results, it’s not effort—it’s execution. Hit the link in bio or send us a message and we’ll fix what’s holding you back. ⸻ 📩 DM “FITMOTIVE” 🌐 www.fitmotive.ca 📧 wellness@fitmotive.ca #quadworkout #legdaytraining #fitmotivetips #musclegrowthtips #trainwithintent
