Pippi in Røros ❄️ Did you know: The winter scenes with Pippi Longstocking were filmed in the same town as “Home for Christmas”. So I found the setting of a funny childhood memory just around the corner: 📍It’s the historic Sleggveien where Pippi sent down the huge snowball to the thieves. Crazy to think the movie was filmed here way back in 1968. It’s not only an iconic filming location, it still gives some idea of the social history of the mining community. During the summer months some of the houses are open to the public.
