I recently had the privilege of spending time in Denver, CO with an incredible group of disability advocates. Each conversation opened my eyes to what it really looks like to push for change. I learned about fundraising in a way that protects mental health, about building a career that stays aligned with your mission, and about speaking boldly on topics people are often too afraid to touch. The trip itself was beautiful. We practiced accessible yoga together, adventured on a giant paddle board, and had open and honest conversations that will stick with me forever. I came home with a renewed sense of purpose and understanding of the community that I serve and am a part of. 🎬 All aboard one of the most epic train journeys in North America! 🚂 🛤️ The train winds through a canyon so deep they call it “The Grand Canyon of the Arkansas.” 🌉 You’ll pass under Colorado’s tallest suspension bridge, see rafters below, and ride tracks impossibly carved into the cliffside. 👧🏼 And for the kids? They loved zooming through the different cabins, watching the views and of course grabbing a bite to eat! ✨ Pro tip: Grab seats in the Vista Dome or head to the open-air car for the best views. 🎟️ Trains run year-round from Cañon City, Colorado 🥪 Food + drinks available onboard (with a kids’ menu!) ⏱️ Rides are ~2 hours roundtrip 📸 Don’t forget to explore the open-air car! #coloradolive #visitcolorado
