The Boston Marathon 2025 ✅ From not knowing if I’d be able to start the race let alone finish it 3 weeks ago, I somehow managed a sub4!!! CMONNN - knee stayed at like a 4/10 pain the whole way - the crowds were incredible - newton hills beat me up - heartbreak hill took my soul - didn’t recover after the hills and cramp took over - the race for sub4 commenced after the hills - shoutout to the salt lady - best experience ever - hardest sporting event I’ve ever done - truly once in a lifetime Thank you so much @adidasuk @adidasrunning for making this happen, a day I’ll never forget 💛

I still can’t believe I’ll be running the Boston Marathon on Monday. This really is a dream come true thank you so much @adidasuk 🤯 I would be lying if I said I wasn’t absolutely bricking it, training had gone so well for this race up until my taper. I’d smashed all my PB’s out the park and had a sub 3:30 marathon well in reach…. however my IT Band had other ideas. If anyone has ever suffered with IT Band pain they’ll know just how frustrating it is and how painful it can be. My goals have changed over the last couple of weeks from aiming for a sub 3:30 to just being able to finish the race. One thing is for certain and that is I’ll give it my all out on that course and will definitely be crossing that historic finishing line! 🏅
