Luma’s new creative agents are a huge leap forward in AI creative production. Instead of creating individual assets, the platform orchestrates several sub-agents to perform individual tasks simultaneously – choosing the best model for the task-at-hand. It blew my mind in early testing: My mother-in-law wanted to create a YouTube video explaining simple stock trading techniques to young adults using cartoon characters that each represented a candlestick pattern. I explained to her that the process would require hundreds of individual image generations for each character followed by image-to-video variations for each. VO, SFX and music would be required as well, before stitching it all together. That process would have taken hours and hours across several different programs and models. But Luma nailed it – in one take, from a simple prompt. ~15 mins later we had a 10 minute Youtube video, that looked and sounded great, with perfect accuracy across all candlestick patterns. Who’s been the most streamed artist on planet earth 4 of the last 6 years. All on a 90/10 split. Bad Bunny never sold his future optionality for present opportunities. How to restore an old photo and turn it into a modern video: I’ve found that the best model for this is Flux Kontext (Pro or Max) which is available on @freepik 1. Go to their AI image generator, upload the photo and select the model. Enter a simple prompt like “Restore this photo into a new state” 2. Once you have a result you’re happy with, use Kling 2.1 (I find it’s the best image-to-video model, although Midjourney and Hailuo are right up there) enter a prompt detailing camera movement and other desired details and hit generate. A$AP ROCKY’s new video for HELICOPTER has some of the craziest visuals you’ve ever seen. And no, it’s not AI. It’s 4D volumetric capture surrounded with 3D animation. It’s a technique called gaussian splatting. The production capture team, @evercoast, captured about 10 terabytes of raw data, rendering roughly 30 minutes of final splatted footage. That data was then brought into Houdini, where GSOPs (Gaussian Splatting Operators – @gsops.project) were used in combination with OTOY OctaneRender to create the final result. A message from the director of the music video @dan.streit who spent 5 months in post-production with the team: “I think it’s important that Rocky led with shutting down AI accusations because it’s too easy to call anything that’s remotely experimental or animated as AI nowadays. He and I both geek out over craft and want people to know that not only can you create great work without it, but audiences should empathize more with artists who slave away at their craft before assuming a computer made it all by itself.” 4D gaussian splatting is the future. Amazing work by this crew. Their brains need to be studied!!

A$AP ROCKY’s new video for HELICOPTER has some of the craziest visuals you’ve ever seen. And no, it’s not AI. It’s 4D volumetric capture surrounded with 3D animation. It’s a technique called gaussian splatting. The production capture team, @evercoast, captured about 10 terabytes of raw data, rendering roughly 30 minutes of final splatted footage. That data was then brought into Houdini, where GSOPs (Gaussian Splatting Operators – @gsops.project) were used in combination with OTOY OctaneRender to create the final result. A message from the director of the music video @dan.streit who spent 5 months in post-production with the team: “I think it’s important that Rocky led with shutting down AI accusations because it’s too easy to call anything that’s remotely experimental or animated as AI nowadays. He and I both geek out over craft and want people to know that not only can you create great work without it, but audiences should empathize more with artists who slave away at their craft before assuming a computer made it all by itself.” 4D gaussian splatting is the future. Amazing work by this crew. Their brains need to be studied!!
