Luma’s new creative agents are a huge leap forward in AI creative production. Instead of creating individual assets, the platform orchestrates several sub-agents to perform individual tasks simultaneously – choosing the best model for the task-at-hand. It blew my mind in early testing: My mother-in-law wanted to create a YouTube video explaining simple stock trading techniques to young adults using cartoon characters that each represented a candlestick pattern. I explained to her that the process would require hundreds of individual image generations for each character followed by image-to-video variations for each. VO, SFX and music would be required as well, before stitching it all together. That process would have taken hours and hours across several different programs and models. But Luma nailed it – in one take, from a simple prompt. ~15 mins later we had a 10 minute Youtube video, that looked and sounded great, with perfect accuracy across all candlestick patterns. Who’s been the most streamed artist on planet earth 4 of the last 6 years. All on a 90/10 split. Bad Bunny never sold his future optionality for present opportunities. And today he’s an owner, getting paid like an owner. I think there are lessons here that any artist or creator can apply to their own careers: - Double down on identity and what makes you unique.
